If Obama wins, I'm buying a couple more firearms of the semi-auto type.

Obama and his minions in congress may not ban firearms but they may make them so expensive to own that hunting will become a rich man's sport, like in Europe. They may put a tax on ammo to where a box of shotgun shells cost $75 or more.

The link to the Texas Hill Country blog answered my big question that I woke up with this morning. How could ________ vote for Obama?

I think I'll flee Denver and go to the Texas Hill Country to celbrate Halloween, Election Day, and Guy Fawkes Day. Strange that those three come in the same week, what?

I bought several more firearms and loaded up on ammo as soon as Obama and Clinton became front runners in the Dem primary. I knew both were anti gun zealots. Obama especially worried me as I knew he has little respect for The Constitution except when it serves his purpose.

Gun and ammo sales in my area(N. Texas) have been very brisk. Ammo has gone up in price, partly due to commodity prices of lead and brass, but also due to increased demand. A lot of citizens do not believe Obama's claim of respecting the Second Amendment.

I am glad to see how many disatisfied Dems are actively working against Obama. Maybe this election will see a return of the Reagan Democrats to the polls.

We all know obama is a crook, a thief and just an all around, comon turd. He has taken money from anyone willing to give it to him, probably something to do with his DNA.

He blew a bundle last night on that half-hour info-mercial and for what he keeps repeating the same socialist crap. Yesterday he is trying to deny he is a Socialist. The word is getting out that he is a pure Socialist and wants to redistrubute everybody elses wealth, but not his of course.

At first he said he would only take matching funds like McCain, until he realized how many in the middle east wanted him president, then he Changed his mind. That is what his change is all about and if elected that will be all anyone has left, is change.

This whole idea that slipped out because of Joe the plumber, 'spread the wealth', this will be his demise. The American People will not tolerate a Socialist. FDR tried the same idea in 1944 and it didn't fly not at all.

I want a White House not a Bleak House. (For all those Libs reading, this is in reference to Dickens' 20 installments of the Book by the same name.)

Take heart people we are going to win... We will have McCain and his Super Conservative Vice President, who by the way, will also be President of the Senate. A little known fact to the democrats, especially Joe 'the Loin Girder' Biden.

I'm a one-issue voter and the issue is 2nd Amendment. Today's Denver Post has a picture on the front page of a woman looking up at her little kid on the floor above. A nutcase criminal is holed up in the apartment below hers and her husband is guarding their door with a KNIFE. Seriously.

All freedom loving Americans should already own all the guns they can shoot and have enough low-tax ammo to see them through the coming days. Ammo up! Tanner Gun Show at Denver this weekend. Any PC Free Zone fan is welcome at my house to go with me to the show and to Cherry Creek Park Shooting Range to practice.

You can count on the taxes increasing on ammo an firearms. Even if cost of collection exceeds revenue, congress will increase the tax just because it feels good. The rich will continue be able to afford to shoot and the poor...well they really didn't need them anyway besides they be standing in line for medical care anyway and won't have the time to go to the range.

Local Second Amendment Acccessory Store told me that they were entirely out of large capacity clips and are down to very few EBRs. We just got our energy rebate -God Bless You, Sarah- and the PFD checks which probably account for a part of the sales. I'll turn down the thermostat and drive a little bit less in exchange for ammo any day!!!

The sad fact is that if Obama wins there will still be a civil war as blacks are the dominant racists in the country. It is Barack Hussein Obama and his supporters who have been playing the race card through out this whole election process.

I don't often trust what the Alex Jones truthers have to say but like in any fire, if there is smoke there ususlly is a flame. All this feeling of unease oozing from our Congress, remember they have the majority and that their CPC members hold key positions. Pelosi is their mouthpiece. Remember too that the CPC members all bow to UN mandates, they and the UN want to totally disarm the United States. The war on terror, is a prime tool to exercise the suspension of Posse Comitatus and institute Marshall Law, any civil unrest can trigger the response, including the financial crisis they have created. Checkpoints and shakedowns, ask any veteran who has served in a battlezone about checkpoints, or about search missions, ask them too about riot control. It's ugly, unpleasant and dangerous for both sides. If it can happen elsewhere it can happen here, all they need is the right leader to give the order and as we've all seen there are too many sycophants(die Kristallnacht) eagerly awaiting that order. It's the law. As demonstrated through media silence and censorship, Obama is all too willing to use it!!!

As a lifelong and current registered Democrat, let me toss in my two cents.
As for guns, I have four at the house including the one my wife wears due to her job and enough ammo to play for a long long time. The majority of gun owners I know have the same. I think alot of the noise you hear on this subject is just that, noise, gotta spread fear, but its a fact, gun and ammo sales are up.
The Obambi is going to try but fail to outlaw guns but he will make it near impossible to use them such as restricting CCWs and mandating gun locks at all time and seperate storage of ammo. Sorry but when mr. scumbag comes calling at 3 in the morning, I want a sig ready to go and when it comes to the safety of my girls I can guarantee I will stand by 'tried by 12 vice carried by 6'.
The democratic party is turning into a socialist joke. WTF!!! Joe Lieberman used to be considered a typical Democrat and kind of a weak liberal one at that. The Reagan Democrats are all gone from Congress it seems and not only is it a shame but it makes our country weaker.

I agree this is so important to be able to protect ourselves. Just knowing I would be able to and have the guns and knowledge how to use them makes me feel a lot safer. I grew up being taught this since I was a small child it was important to my Dad too as it is Nick as well.

If Obama had been a better man, he would have stayed clear of the race card he played and even demaned it not be an issue. I agree with you, the Democrat party has changed so much it is nothing like it used to be. I wonder if Zell Miller is OK. I don't hear about him anymore and he made such an awesome speech about his disgust with the Democrats in leadership. Then they did a horrible attack on him after that.
