Al Gore Urges 'Civil Disobedience' Toward Coal Plants
Al Gore called Wednesday for "civil disobedience" to combat the construction of coal power plants without the ability to store carbon, Reuters reported.
The former vice president, whose efforts to raise awareness of global warming have made him the most prominent voice on that issue, made the comment during a session at the fourth annual Clinton Global Initiative in Manhattan.
"If you're a young person looking at the future of this planet and looking at what is being done right now, and not done, I believe we have reached the stage where it is time for civil disobedience to prevent the construction of new coal plants that do not have carbon capture and sequestration," Gore said, according to Reuters.
It wasn't clear what specific action he intended by "civil disobedience," which calls for the intentional violation of laws deemed to be unjust.

This idiot is still ticked off that the Americans turned him down for the Presidents Office. He’s trying to punish the United States and his followers don’t even realize they are being sucked in and making him millions.

Albore that is perfect. Here in Pennsylvania, Coal is the next best thing to sliced bread. It is the life blood of the state.
So now the 'turnips' are supposed to protest the coal fired power plants. What, Albore, are we suppose to heat our homes with, corn ? In Pennsylvania we eat corn, it is fed to animals so they will grow and get big and fat so we can kill them and eat them too.
When I look at these communists, and that is all we can call them, they are completely anti-American and work constantly for the total destruction of the United States. I no longer try to understand why they hate this country, that is a waste of time. But I work to defeat them, to beat them into the ground into a pulp so they can never hurt us again. We all have to fight them it is beyond the point of friendly parties with differing ideas. It has escalated to a point of survival. The survival of our culture and our country. They want a fight bring it on, be it that fat bastard Algore or whoever. If Freedom is worth living for it is worth dieing for. This is what they don't understand. But most or all it is not Free.

Al Gore needs to be locked in a padded room full of child safe toys with that other wacky nutcase former president Jimmy Carter. These two guys are doing more damage to the United States than Al-queda. Sadly, Al Gore has a Democrat controlled Congress to take up his insane ideas. Throw in a number of gutless RINOs and this carbon offset idiocy has become a factor in our law making.
