Obama the Friend of Ayers and Rezko, to Appear on Egomaniac O'Reilly Factor Tonight
Barack Obama will appear on Fox News with conservative Bill O'Reilly on Thursday, the same night John McCain gives his acceptance speech at the Republican convention here. What a coincidence!
The first-time appearance by the Illinois senator on O'Reilly's show will likely be a ratings draw, although it will not go head-to-head with McCain's speech.
Obama's interview will air at 8:00 p.m. EDT, while McCain's speech will air after 9:00 p.m.
O'Reilly will sit down with Obama Thursday in York, Pa., where he plans to question Obama on his "political career, domestic issues and foreign policy in Iran and Iraq," according to a statement by the network, which is owned by News Corp.,
Wild Thing's comment.......
Light weight O'Reilly has no class nor shame. He brags about being an independent, fine. I could care less. But this interview he has literally been BEGGING for from Obama does not have to be the same night as the closing night of the Republican Convention. And O'Reilly the creep knows it.
More and more lately O'Reilly has been defending Obama, it really is sickening. I am sure it was his way of kissing up to Obama to try and get the interview. But good grief O'Reilly is so obvious about it. LOL
O'Reilly wants the left to like him. ah poor baby....NOT!
Rush ( my favorite) says he prefers when the left doesn't like him, he always says it means he is doing his job. And there are an awful lot of people that don't like Rush and most of them are on the left.
Palin squashed the cockroach and O'Reilly is throwing him a lifeline.
O'Reilly wants to be loved as a star, not respected as a journalist. He has lost a ton of respect from many conservatives with his kissing up to the left like he does in his interviews. The one he did with Michael Moore was totally disgusting.
Give him a mirror and he could preen and talk about looking out for himself....oops the people.... yeah the people.
O'Reilly's interview is about O'Reilly. It is not to get the facts he says he wants for the American people--although this is what he tells himself and believes. However I know he will throw him many softballs and if he doesn't and asks some hard questions he will let him off on his answers. Why? Because O'Reilly is more focused on his resume than realizing he is stepping all over the RNC's final day.
O'Reilly has a badly inflated sense of his interviewing skills. He misses obvious follow-up questions and lets interviewees get away with vague non-answers. Not as bad as Larry King yet, but there's time.
Rush Limbaugh is KING no one comes close, but there are many others that are really good too such as Laura, Mark Levin, and Glenn Beck. All these I named are ten times better then O'Reilly.
Sure I will tape it to watch later after the convention is over tonight, just to see if Obama says something about Palin's speech...... oh wait....that would be.......Uh....Palin....I mean uh....er uh.....uh....uh.....uh.....Sarah uh....uh.....ah.....ah.....uh....... her speech.

Oreilly was complaining about McCain's use of the phrase, 'My Friends' and how it irritated him. His constant use of 'the Folks' just about drives me up the wall.
He is constantly saying he is looking out for me, no Bill take care of yourself, I am fine. He is another self-serving, pompous ass, who thinks he has all the answers. When all of his solutions involve growing government.
His favorite line is, 'well why can't the government do it.' or write some law or something from the government.
My biggest complaint about oreilly is his refusal to interview John Kerry about his attacks on the Swift-Boats, and his constant condemnation of the 'Swifties' for their ad about Hanoi John. they told the truth and oreilly insisted to ignore it.
So as far as I am concerned this is a blip on the screen, after Sarah Palins speech last night this will amount to nothing more than a small man trying to usurp some of the spotlight from our already bright star shining like the beacon of Liberty, Sarah Palin has brought to our party.

I have always been disgusted by O Reilly. His vanity is on a par with John Edwards. There are so few of these media types that I really care for. My list would be very short. We have some local guys also that are far more about themselves than about really being informative.
However, OReilly, Matthews and Olberman are the worst of the worse.

I used to watch O’Reilly 5 day’s a week, about a year ago I thought
something was changing, he’s gone soft! He started putting trash
on his show like back when he had inside edition. He really got to
me when he trashed the Swifties, that was the last straw. I haven’t
Watched a full episode in over a year!!!

Where is Hannity? He won't pander to the sleaze. Is O’Reilly gearing up to take over Larry King Live? I don't see any difference so I'll skip the pleasantries from Bill and the slime he's hosting. I'd rather watch Rosie O'Donnell and that is as bad as it gets.

Mark, I agree and your right too, he says this all the time....
"His favorite line is, 'well why can't the government do it.' or write some law or something from the government."
AUGH I am sick of that and it always upsets me when he says it. I talk back to the TV and tell him to stop talking.
DITTO what you said too about Kerry and the Swifties too.

Tom, exactly gosh I agree so much.
"OReilly, Matthews and Olberman " are the worst.

Tincan Sailor, yes he sure showed his true self when he attacked the Swifties.

Jack, LOL. O'reilly has been after Obama for months to pretty please can I interview you kind of thing. yuk.
My guess is Obama would never say yes to Hannity since he would be too afraid of the questions Hannity would ask. heh heh
