Michelle Obama Missing From 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony In New York
Why Wasn't Michelle Obama at the 9/11 Ceremony?
Barack Hussein Obama was without his wife Michelle at the 9/11 commemoration ceremony yesterday in New York City.
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was accompanied by his wife Cindy.
Where was Michelle?
Wild Thing's comment..........
The Obama campaign responded that Michelle was back in Chicago with her daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, since this is the first week of school.
I feel if her husband is running for President her place is next to him especially on something like this. They could afford someone to be with the children for a day when they got home from school.
I mean, here she is with this controversy surounding her comment “For the first time in my life I am proud to be an American...” and now she is conspicuously absent from the 9/11 memorial ceremony?
It makes you wonder what she was feeling on the morning of 9/12/01? Was she proud to be an American that day? And if so, where is she today?
I think people would have wanted to see her being proud to be an American at Ground Zero today. At best a lost opportunity in my opinion...at worst, something far darker.

Maybe Michelle was visiting Barrak's grandmother, the one who raised him? The grandmother he had on stage with him when he accepted the Democrat nomination. Oh wait...my bad....he didn't bring her to the convention. Can you imagine that?

Maybe Michelle thought there would be too many typical White people there.
She really is an elitist. Cindy's presence and Michelle's absence made extra points for John McCain's candidacy.

It may have been the first week of school for Malia and Sasha but Michelle taught her daughters how, like herself, to be disrespectful and not proud of the country. The anniversary remembrance of 9/11 is so ingrained into the fabric of the country that for Michelle Obama, First Lady wannabe, not to be there with her husband, President wannabe, and the McCains in a bipartisan show of national grief and pride of country was a disgrace.
Personally, I'm glad that Michelle Obama didn't show up and desecrate the sacred ground of the WTC and the family and friends that were there. Hopefully, Michelle Obama won't have the opportunity to desecrate the White House.

Les, yes that is exactly what she was teaching her daughters.
I know what you mean and that is a point too, I don't really want her anywhere that has anything to do with our government, our military or any kind of American meaning to it.

It seems to me skipping the first days of school and visiting the Twin towers and understanding what happened there, and learn how we were attacked by terrorists who hate us, would be more educational that the crap taught in school. But America is not there number 1 priority is it ...but that is seen by an angry white guy.

I'm not an American Citizen, but was very offened that Mrs. Obama was not at the 911 MEMORIAL, and she really should have attended this very important day in American History. Maybe her daughters would be proud of her for attending such a important event. I guess she is still not proud of being a Proud American,
