McCain and Palin Rally in Sterling Heights, MIchigan
i heard the crowd was 50,000 at this event.
Sterling Heights is a suburb of Detroit. A mostly blue collar automotive community. Best known for Reagan democrats.

I loved that the crowds shouted USA! Didn't ever happen at Obama's convention.
The libs have no sense of humor - a stark contrast to the cons. I really prefer to hang with folks who go after a better way and have a good time doing it, than those who just whine and cry in their soup, expecting someone else to do the heavy lifting.
What's Obama going to do if the leader of, oh say, Iran or Russia, says something about his ears? Run home to MicheleOmama?

I sure hope that Sarah Palin and John McCain get specific on the things in Washington that they will reform and change. A good start would be to come down hard on Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid for shutting down Congress and going on vacation without addressing the drilling question during a national energy crisis. John McCain was ready to sacrifice his own convention to do right by the victims of Gustav. McCain should declare that when he is President there is no vacation at a time of national crisis.
They should roast Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and leadership deprived Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Biden for not doing the same? They can also include Bush for not reconvening Congress on the energy crisis.

Let's just hope that all this McCain * Palin enthusiasm turns into money, votes, and new registered voters in swing states to catch up to the Dems and Obama's lead in this area. It's all about Electoral College votes and the winner takes all.

Les, I agree, and also I am all for shipping Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid over to Iran or something in a big cage and they can stay there caged up. heh heh
