My hubby got a NOBAMA sticker for the back of the van and a McCain-Palin one too.
This is going to be an exciting time in all our lives. But we do need to get the word out that everyone should vote, every vote should count once (I love that Maytag commercial with the hanging chads-have you seen it?)and that sitting at home watching the returns is NO way to elect someone.
Plus, if you don't vote, you can't complain or show your pride later.
Obamanation has no patriotism. McCain and Palin do. We need to get young people to read up on the candidates before they make that decision that could send us down the river to socialism or up the river to glory.
I told my niece, who is set on voting for Obama no matter what, that what kind of world does she want for her daughter, who will be born in 3 to 6 weeks? She says she'll have to think about that one. (the baby's daddy is a big Che fan. Guess he doesn't realize under Che that millions died horribly.)

The Jim Jones-like Kool-Aid drinkers that will vote for Barack Hussein Obama in November are a dangerous lot. Too many of them are students and young people. Hopefully, this new McCain-Palin team will not only energize their base but enlist enough new students and young people to see the light of true reform and improvement on the problems that are hurting them and the country.

Who do I trust more a Naval Officer or a Lawyer ?

I think it was January 1966, I was on another cruise with FMFLant, and we were at a liberty port in Genoa Italy. We had Port and Starboard Liberty, in other words halve the ship had Liberty one day and the next day the other halve had liberty. On this day not too much was happening until about 1230, when over the 1MC, they said 'set the special Sea and Anchor detail.' Everybody on the ship thought someone was screwing around, until, they said, 'Make all preparations for getting underway.' With this bit of news we knew it wasn't a joke. But half the ship was ashore on liberty. Didn't matter.

After we were underway the Captain came on the box and said that a B-52 had gone down over Palmyra, Spain and we were to be there yesterday. The ship was the USS Ashland one of the World War 2 models LSD-21, which suited the purpose for the midget subs searching for the lost, material from the B-52. As old as that ship was we hit 25 knots literally flying across the Med. and made record time at least for that old bucket. It shook all the way across to Spain.

There was such an aire of professionalism of all the Navy Officers and their crew, it was incredible.

Who would i trust more, a Naval Officer.

From the things you share with your niece she might change her mind,I hope so. You would be so good at explaining thins to her and getting her to think harder about the effect her vote would be.
