Obama's Promises To The Illegals
Obama promises amnesty for illegal immigrants
Democrat presidential nominee Barack Obama today speaking to the National Council of La Raza in San Diego promised amnesty for the more than 12 million illegal immigrants that are living in the United States.
Here’s a bit of what Obama had to say:
“Yes, they broke the law. And we should not excuse that. We should require them to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line for citizenship - behind those who came here legally. But we cannot - and should not - deport 12 million people. ”Obama went on to say: “That's why we need to offer those who are willing to make amends a pathway to citizenship. That way, we can reconcile our values as both a nation of immigrants and a nation of laws.”

That's amnesty any way you look at it. How does "a nation of laws" ignore the fact that 12 million people broke the law of the land by granting them amnesty?
No secure border. Obama giving it all away. His list of promises is getting so long, I can’t imagine that some people aren’t starting to see what a grand BS artist he is.
Note he doesn't say secure the border first. McCain during his campaign promises has said he would secure the border first, so far that is the only difference on this between the two of them.

“But disappointing some at the Latino civil rights gathering, he said he stuck to his position that he only would consider a path to citizenship for illegal residents after he can prove to Americans that the border is secure.”
Except that McCain's version of a secured border is having border Governors certify that the border is secure. There is no commitment on McCain's part to seal the border with a fence.
But also I don't trust promises from these two politicians so ....well what can I say.

Gee, with that kind of logic maybe he'll make the guy down the road from me who got busted for making methamphatime a pharmacist. Why not? It makes just as much sense.

If we survive Obamas' run for Presidency- The Middle East (it will never go away!) - The Oil Crisis - The food Crisis- The housing Crisis- The banks going under- The green BS- The enviromental scams - The world wide economy crisis and The natural disasters that we will have then we will join forces and -- all become one big happy "United States of Mexico and Canada"- yeah- I really think it is a big possibility!! People are so ignorant and too MANY don't give a damn anymore-!! They just want a big house lots of money and a big car or two with some big bucks in the bank- other than that - they live in a dream world - that they stay in! THEY ARE HOPING TO WAKE UP FROM THIS NIGHTMARE WITH OBAMA AS THE NEW HOPE OF AMERICA- GAG-- !!! LMAO!!!! THAT IS THE TYPICAL AMERICAN TODAY!!

I am pretty sure that within 18-24 months after the election amnesty will be a done deal. It doesn't matter how loud the majority of Americans protest, amnesty will become a fact. Like the previous amnesty in 1996, this one will open the door for another doubling of illegals in a few more years.
It is done for votes and economics. I wonder how many of the recent mortgage foreclosures were illegals. Just another of the many hidden costs of "cheap labor".

The Dem's are smuggling in voters like the drug dealers smuggle in crack. I suppose Obama will use illegals as enthusiastically as he used drugs.

Obama says 12 million ILLEGALS, when actually there are closer to 40 million, hence the number of people with no health insurance, Free health insurance for everyone, if people think health care is expensive now, wait til its free. Then he wants to fix world poverty, what a scam that will be, and free education for all gods chillen... And everybody will stop doing drugs and just be nicer to one another...if only Obama... This guy is a rat.
Where does he think the money's going to come from ?

Tom, yes they don't seperate or break down if any are illegals or not. That might be because a lot of them might be would be my guess.
Every time they do this amnesty thing it makes it worse and worse.

Jim, good point and he bragged about his drug use in his book. Mayeb not real bragging but close enough, he never said how badly he felt that he did that kind of thing.

That is what concerns me too where is all this money coming from for all of this. It is from you and me and all of us and we should have a say in this. Heck our laws already have a say and it is that it is against the law.
This is a huge thing for me I just will never understand how any politician, any government employee can say yessss let's break the law like this because that is what it is bottom line.

The real issue with granting amnesty to illegal aliens is what other laws will it be OK for them and real citizens to ignore after that. Once you let the law breaking genie out of the bottle you are stuck with what it brings you.
