It's funny how George Step-on-all-of-us used to be a republican and now he's acting like a jerk dummycrap. Obamanation should have visited the troops at Landstuhl. Exercising can wait an hour or so.
At least McPain visited the troops and he truly feels for them.
I would love to put my feet up Obamanation's butt. I'd love to give him a piece of my mind.

Although I still don't support McCain, he knows first hand what it's like to be a wounded troop in hospital and how much a visit means.

Also, didn't some reporterette say that McCain visiting the troops was a sacrifice as he could have been back in the States doing more important campaigning? It was in a post here.

Obama has the same lack of respect for the troops as John Kerry does. He must think that is the only job they can find. Of course, the only job Obama seems able to find is politician, one of the lowest fields of endeavor.

It's no secret that I'm not a McCain fan but let's look at U.N. Senator Obama.

He has zero military experience, he has zero personnel skills and he has zero empathy for anyone in the military, he exemplifies an outright visible and verbal disdain for the military and it's personnel and he hates this nation and anything it stands for. With nothing vested in the country he therefore has no respect for what others have given him. Recall that “I am not a warrior, but who is? I have never learned to fight for my freedom. I was only good at enjoying it.” statement by Oscar van den Boogaard the Dutch humanist? There goes Obama and his minions.

McCain granted, has spent time in the hospital as a patient and as a prisoner of war. But that is not what I'm saying here. Prior to McCain becoming the POW he is famous for he was just another crewmember as part of a larger fleet of sailors and airmen. He flew A1 Skyraiders from the aircraft carriers USS Intrepid and USS Enterprise in the Caribbean and Mediterranean Seas. The planes he was flying crashed twice and once collided with power lines, but he received no major injuries. You don't take those kinds of risks without the loss of fellow crewmembers. Remember it is the man in the arena. Some of those who have served this nation have come back from either a training or combat mission short fellow crewmmbers, they are to be remembered and honored. Something Obama has zero experience in.

Then after requesting a combat assignment McCain was almost killed on July 29, 1967 when he was near the center of the USS Forrestal fire, a Zuni rocket misfired, knocking off an external tank on another aircraft and two 1000lb bombs. Fuel from the leaking tank caught fire creating a massive conflagration that burned for hours, killing 134, injuring 161, destroying 21 aircraft.

McCain escaped from his burning A-4 jet and was trying to help another pilot escape when a 1000-lb bomb exploded. McCain was struck in the legs and chest by fragments. Nine bomb explosions occurred on that flight deck, now anyone who has been on the receiving end of ordinance knows what that is like. That one blast alone should have killed him. 1000lb bombs, cripes I only handled 500 lb bombs and can attest to their veracity if they talk to you up close.
With the Forrestal out of commission, McCain volunteered for assignment with the USS Oriskany which had suffered a similar fire on 27 October 1966 when a fire killed 44 men. Many who lost their lives were veteran combat pilots who had flown raids over Vietnam a few hours earlier.

The point being that John McCain lost fellow Airmen, fellow Sailors and felow Marines on board the USS Forrestal and other assignments, he spent time in the hospital with his fellow wounded and he no doubt visited with his fellow wounded after his release.

I have no doubt that McCain for all his sorry collaboration with the left wouldn't take a moment out of his schedule to visit a wounded American at any time or any place regardless of public opinion or the happy horshit the media portrays.

Obama was the man in the arena and he failed miserably this past week. Like I stated earlier, Obama is in that class of Platyhelminthes, Cnidaria, and Porifera, creatures without an anus, so anything that comes out of his yap is excrement, once again U.N. Senator Obama is just an ass in the crack of humanity.

He's back eh, guess the plane didn't crash. Maybe next time. Obama is a first class jerk. No two ways about it. He is an empty suit, a puppet with someone else pulling the strings. His handlers told him not to go. One would think he could make a decision on his own once in awhile.

Speaking of fellow Airmen who didn't come back, I posted this at Vilmar's. It's a shame that six of our finest have basically been ignored by the media.

Lynn, I would too, Obama is a disgrace as an American among all the other things.
I can't tolerate anyone that puts down being an American and then if they put our troops down or snub them in any way well that is the end of them for me.

I am no fan of McCain, there are a few differences in the two, and like you said that is what this is about regarding the troops that are wounded that Obama had no intention of seeing.
