Beyond Moron Nancy Pelosi Says To Drill In protected Areas "A Hoax"
Pressured about drilling in the millions of acres that Democrats have restricted from oil drilling and development, Speaker Nancy Pelosi answers, "Drilling is a hoax!"
It makes you understand how this bunch of Democrats became the worst Congress ever in approval ratings.

WASHINGTON, July 10 (UPI)
U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said calls to drill in protected, sensitive areas is "a hoax" perpetrated by Republicans and the Bush administration.Pelosi and other Democratic leaders unveiled proposals that would address the energy and gas price crisis, and renewed their calls for immediate drilling on nearly 100 million domestic acres already approved for exploration, The Hill reported Thursday. They also urged President George Bush to release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
"This call for drilling in areas that are protected is a hoax, it's an absolute hoax on the part of the Republicans and this administration," Pelosi said. "It's a decoy to punt your attention away from the fact that their policies have produced $4-a-gallon gasoline."
Pelosi's position may put her at variance with members of the Democratic Caucus who have been moving toward striking compromises with Republicans on ways to expand domestic energy production.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said expanded offshore drilling is not off the table, and that Democrats will consider whether states should be able to choose to drill off their coasts, as Bush has suggested.

Pelosi is a ‘hoax on what she is playing on America’! Nobody can be this stupid enough to come up with this crap! She has taken the Congressional approval rate to single digit.
If the Republicans and Bush included could just take the bull by the horns on this and treat it like the war it is with the enemy within........ I would bet that it would turn around a lot of the negatives of the Republican party and get us on our way back to showing how Conservative thinking and doing what has to be done is what is the most important thing to do.
But it would mean for Republican politicians to play hard and not touchie feelie like so many have done. If they don't do this then they suck worse then we thought before. This is an opportunity waiting in the wings for Republicans to save the day.
Maybe I am wrong, but it sure seems lilke a real opportunity and it really would get us in such a better place regarding Oil..

That's just it with them, isn't it? Use up the reserve and claim that Bush did nothing to help with the oil crisis. They turn everything around.
And, do you think, that if Obamanation Doody were to win the election and he has a democratic house and senate that he's really going to stretch across party lines to the minority republicans? Hell no, he's not. We can forget drilling, our troops will be defeated and our flag will have a hammer and sickle on it and we'll all have to convert to Islam. Nazi is a poor excuse for a woman. I don't know how anyone ever fell in love with her, married her and bred with her. Gives me a bad image--EWWW!!!!!!!!!!!

Drill offshore and drill ANWAR. Drill wherever feasible, start oil shale production and go more nuclear. Build more refineries or increased production will not count for much. Once refining capacity is increased release oil from the oil reserve and refill it with some of the increased production.
We are being defeated by the enemy within.

Pelosi is an ignorant HAG!!- I used to send her e-mails- but she never answered - Yeah drilling is a hoax that is why people in Montana - and the Dakotas are dropping wells in their backyards and are all ready millionaires-within less than 30 days!! HHMMM The Dems are stuck on stupid-Pelosi and some others stood in front of the cameras yesterday on c span like a bunch of trick or treaters saying "we got it- Americans are hurting - go drill and use it or lose it"- WTF?? The Dems are going to get a huge wake up call come Nov-- we will hear bubbles bursting everywhere!! LOL

I hope the democrats hold their ground and don't give in the the demand for drilling. Their rating is down to 9 % by election it could approach zero, and the price of gas is 10 dollars a gallon.
Then in 3 months we could welcome a brand new congress of all Rookies, ready, willing and able to start drilling.
This is not the dems against the Oil companies it is the 'imposing of the democrat will' on the American People and hopefully WE will win and I think we shall.

You are right WT. The Republicans have the perfect battle cry, "Drill, Drill, Drill". They and Bush should be screaming from the mountaintops. Of course the MSM will be unaccomodating to the Repubs, but the public will be paying attention.
This summer's electric bills and gasoline costs will definitely awaken the public. With the recent announcements of substantial oil field finds both on and offshore, the citizens may just realize which party is offering relief. Golly, I wish Bush would use his bully pulpit. He is a lame duck, he has nothing to lose.
