Just Who Is Rep. Maurice Hinchey?
Rep. Hinchey speaks with Code Pink Women
re: $124 billion supplemental for more war funding in Iraq, the Occupation of Iraq, and Bush administration
He was particularly noted for his work on protecting the natural environment. For fourteen years he chaired the Committee on Environmental Conservation. One highlight of his tenure was the passage of the country's first law concerning regulation of acid rain.
he no longer bills himself as a conservative or even a moderate Democrat. In fact, he is one of the most liberal members of the House, and one of the state's most liberal congressmen outside New York City. For example, his website states, "He was one of the first and most outspoken opponents of the 2003 war in Iraq."
He now serves on the powerful Appropriations Committee, a post that helps him deliver federal support on programs important to his district.
Hinchey is a member of Congressional Progressive Caucus, a group of liberal congressmen.
Representative Hinchey has been one of Congress' strongest voices in support of medical marijuana. The Hinchey-Rohrabacher medical marijuana amendment -- which has been introduced in the United States House of Representatives every year since 2003

Wild Thing's comment.......
The video shocked me. I know the left goes along with what Code Pink does and many have supported what they do like John Murtha etc. But I never knew anyone in our government went all out to plan and direct them on what to do.
TREASON!

Congressman Moron Hinchey (D NY) is the same idiot that proposed capping gasoline at $2.49/gallon. Offshore drilling has proven overall to be very safe. Offshore rigs in the Gulf of Mexico are mecca's for fishermen as they act as artificial reefs and draw fish. Now we will see the true side of all of our elected representatives. See my post of 6/03/2008.
Congressman Hinchey proposes $2.49/gallon cap on gas.

He is scary-- he's got those Charlie Manson looking eyes going on!!! What a bunch of airheads!

Yeah, Cheryl you nailed it , all Hinchey needs is a swastika in the center of those two beady eyes. Didn't they make a song about that, 'He's got Charlie Manson eyes.'
What's amazing, is the left seems to find all these misfits to run for congress and surprisingly they win. don't say much about the quality of the democrat voter.

Maurice is getting even with the world. He probably had more wedgies, Rear Admirals, wet willies, purple nurples, towel snaps and toilet dunkings than a hundred Al Gores. If my name was Maurice Hinchey, I would have opened a vein.

Bob, thanks for the link and information.
I love the offshore rigs, when I had a modeling job in New Orleans years ago. We had some time off and went fishing off one of the oil rigs. What a day that was, very exciting and tons of fun too. Sorry about getting off topic kind of, just going down memory lane. haha

Mark, that would be perfect, "swastika in the center of those two beady eyes".
I wonder if the dems voting for these people are the children grown up from the hippies and they think just like their parents did.
