Joe Cocker, "With a Little Help From My Friends." Crazy Video
Joe Cocker, "With a Little Help From My Friends." Woodstock, 1969. Closed captioned for the clear-headed.
I hate that there was Woodstock and everything is stood for. That is why this video above is so funny, how the person that did this added things to it that really had me laughing. I thought that was so funny what they did with the video of that performance. LOL
.
This one below is my favorite Joe Cocker song. The song was used in a movie so if you are offended by kind of sexy stuff please do not click on it. --Thank you, Wild Thing

Favor WT? To counter punch these hippies from 1969, how about my favorite Vietnam war song by Merle Haggard in 1970?
"The Fightin' Side of Me"
Our troops deserve this fantastic hit and it's seldom heard these days....The lyrics are inspirational, big time!

Nothing wrong with a little fantasy now and then.
If you got it, go for it.
And speaking of Merle Haggard, how about the song, Amber Waves of Grain? (the very amber waves of grain are in grave danger if we elect the wrong person.) I like Merle. He's cool. So were Waylon and Johnny. You just don't see that kind of patriotism much anymore.
It's funny, we all go through our "crazy" years in our late teens and early 20s, but the worst I did was get a Billy Idol haircut and wore punk clothes--all for about 3 months and I got so sick of the way I looked, I grew up. But many of these Woodstock gangbangers never got out of their "crazy" years. They're still children in their minds and refuse to see that it's time for a change, so their kids and now grandkids are acting the same way they did.

Those were exciting days in the 60's/70's. But like Lynn states, you need to grow up sometime. Too many did not. Sometimes I think Jimmy Carter was the original hippie. He is still spaced out.

Lynn your right, those are good ones too. I hope we always keep the patriotic songs alive forever.
