Harold Ickes At the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting
At the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting, Ickes states, "Mrs Clinton has asked me to reserve her rights to take this to the credentials committee."
In defiance of the vote by the Rules Committee to admit all Michigan with half a vote, Ickes threatens to take the fight to the convention.
Hillary supporters cheered Ickes' threat by chanting, "Den-ver! Den-ver!"
The Hillary campaign immediately issued a statement in support of Ickes' remark.
Here is Clinton's senior advisor Harold Ickes
.
Wild Thing's comment........
Obama likes to brag in speeches about how brave he was to go up to Michigan and tell the auto industry that they would have to raise fuel mileage standards, raising costs and costing Michigan jobs.
What he doesn’t mention, of course, was that he gave that brave speech after he’d seen the polling indicating he was going to lose Michigan to Clinton and pulled his name off the ballot. LOL What a twit jerk and any name you like to use for this B. Hussein Obama.
So a guy that took his name OFF the ballot gets votes given to him. Go figure. hahahaha Only in America!
Harold Ickes was ticked as well he should be which of course is also a good example of how glad I am that at least so far to be a Republican our votes count.

Yeah--this is exactly what the dummys whined about in 2000--that Bush stole Florida and the Presidency, which is their God Given Role. (actually it was Bernard Shaw would said something stupid before the panhandle of Florida was closed.) No one else can have it. If I were in Michigan, I would be up in arms about this. This is sooooo despicable.
Anyone remember the movie Election? Matthew Broderick threw two votes into the trash to keep Tracy Flick from winning and got caught? You can't mess with elections and now the dummys think it's okay. But didn't they always cheat anyway?

José was right, "Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything..."

Soon it will not matter in the one party system. Welcome to Marxism.

The Democratic Party is so much like a Third World Country. The Democratic primary is being run like recent elections in Zimbabwe.

Tom's being kind. The Donks have taken the politics of the Third World and accomplished the seemingly impossible task of making them worse.
Go back far enough, and you learn that progressivism/liberalism regards democracy as disposable, ineffective and unnecessary. They've always been "about" rule by elites, and the assertion of a secular morality by coercive force.
Once you accept the first principle of liberalism - that the state is the source of rights, comfort and equality, rather than the protector of liberty and justice, anything is possible.
Now and then all the contradictions of liberalism crash into each other, but libs will always find a way to ignore their idiocies and cover up the damage.

This time though, it is going to be tough to cover up the damage. Hillary is not playing fair, she didn't drop out like she was told. There are now two factions at work here. the Deaniacs and the Clintons. Now they have a dilemma.
So what do they do, throw Obama under the bus, (and risk giving the Black Vote to the Republicans) it is already very crowded under there from all the people Barry has thrown under, or do they try to sink Hillaries ship. They do that and risk a third party challange from the Clintons.
Now they have pissed off the Clintons by letting Michigan and Florida count only half and now the Clintons say we are going to the convention to fight it out.
This donk party is now going to get very dirty very fast. The stuffing is now coming out and the seams are breaking...This should be fun to watch.

Mark is certainly right about the Deaniacs. Dean never had any respect for the Clintons. The egos involved are too big for one party.

Darth they sure did. That was before I moved to Florida, but the entire country was watching the behavior of the dems and the chads that year. Totally disgusting.
Dems have an allergy to voting legally I think. If there is something they can mess up they will. They are so horrible.
Posted by: Wild Thing at June 1, 2008 07:44 PM
Lynn yes the dems have always cheated in elections.
Let's see they have had dead people vote, they picked up homeless people in Vans and offered them coffee and donuts during the last Bush election just to get them registered to and vote for Kerry.
They have had other bused in to wrong voting areas so they could complain they were not allowed to vote.
More stuff too I forget right now, but lots of horrible things the dems have done.

Jack, WOW what a quote, thank you so much!!
Posted by: Wild Thing at June 1, 2008 07:55 PM
Tom, yes it sure does. All they need now are flat bed trucks with soldiers on them and guns to control the crowds that are upset. They would do that for sure.

Rhod, "progressivism/liberalism regards democracy as disposable, ineffective and unnecessary"......thank you. The whole thing actually should be in some book about the left and how it functions. I sure have been learning a lot.
I lead a simple life. Pick a candidate, vote and hope they win. Or in this years case pick a candidate, they stop running and I am left high and dry to pick the icky one. waaaaa
But the dems that is another matter and they are giving a big education like the things you said in your comment if a dem party member would pay attention. Thanks again Rhod.

Mark your right!!
I saw that today when Hillary gave her speech. She is staying in, the DNC will have a fit.
Some on the TV news said... get this..
They said they wish Obama would pick Hillary for their VP, because she had more experience and also she could bring in the hispanic and womens vote. Now they want her??? !!!! LOL
Hellooooo !

Rhod the Dean ago is really a sick one too, he has no leadership ability. He has been horrible. Of course not being a Dem I would not like his way of thinking anyway. LOL
