"Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, beginning a tour of hospitals in Eugene, Ore., told reporters that he had been in touch with the senator's family. I insist on being optimistic about how it's going to turn out."

Comments
I am sitting here listening to FOX News and all the reporters and others are blubbering and singing the praises of Kennedy as if he were already dead, well, even if he does die, I am going to make this very clear, I have always considered Teddy Kennedy as an enemy, an abortion supporting, gun grabbing liberal and not worth more than a few lines of criticism from time to time…
This current health crisis has done nothing to change my opinions either but it’s going to be interesting to see just which so-called Conservative politicians come out singing his praises, should be interesting…

I wish Ted Kennedy good health and a long life, just not in the U.S. Senate. He has done more harm there then any one human being should be allowed too. Enough is enough.

I can't be as generous as Les. Thanks to Ted Kennedy, and John Kerry South and others, Vietnam wound up communist, and Dick Durgin's Pol Pot Killing Fields started. This bastard has been bitch slapping the United States for far too long and getting away with it all under the cover of politics. But more importantly the 58,479 Americans who gave everything they had all for this piece of shit could say it was all for nothing.
Fox interviewed, Allen Simpson former Republican Senator from Wyoming, he had nothing but glowing respect for this piece of garbage. Good thing that rino is gone too.
It is all a game to these sons of bitches when good men lay down their lives so they can throw it back at them/us as useless and that you are a War criminal this has been going on for too long, too. I can not wish this bastard anything but a lot more of the same.

I stopped by here earlier this morning, then thought better of the idea. Wait Jack, see if everyone has the same feelings about the good Senator as you do.
You have not dissappointed me.
Sympathy for Edward Moore "Ted" Kennedy lies in the dictionary between shit and syphilis, if anyone wants any sympathy from me for Ted look there.
I sincerely share Mark's sentiments.
Mary Jo Kopechne
Birth: Jul. 26, 1940
Death: Jul. 19, 1969
After a party on Chappaquiddick Island on July 18, 1969, Kennedy drove his 1967 Oldsmobile Delta 88 off a wooden bridge into a tide-swept pond and his passenger and aide, Mary Jo Kopechne, drowned while Kennedy was able to exit the vehicle and swim to shore. Kennedy reported the accident to the local police 10 hours later. Kennedy pleaded guilty to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident and received a suspended sentence. On July 19, we will celebrate the 39th anniversary of Mr. Kennedy's 1969 "accident" at Chappaquiddick, in which a beautiful young lady died, and a cover-up of mammoth proportions followed. After that fateful night, all we have heard from Senator Kennedy are a perpetual string of lies.

Mark, I stand corrected. I was too generous. Ted Kennedy will be judged in the right time and the right place by the ultimate authority. Vietnam and Mary Jo Kopechne will be at the top of his resume of deeds.

While good ol' Teddy Boy is an insufferable prick, I still don't wish any of them ill health.( even if I don't like them!) I know when I don't feel well or my bad back and legs act up on me, I want someone to feel something for me.
Yeah, he ain't no angel by any means.
Maybe God is finally getting back to him for what he did to Mary Jo. Poor girl never had a chance.

Apropos of Ted Kennedy:
Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin played a role in the appeasement mentality in Britain that led to Neville Chamberlain's deals with Hitler.
In 1947, when Baldwin turned 80, Churchill was asked if he'd sent Baldwin a birthday card. Churchill said:
"I wish Stanley Baldwin no ill, but it would have been much better if he had never lived".
The same thing applies to Ted Kennedy.

TexasFred, yes it was getting sickening so we went out to lunch and came back and watched an old movie on TV. I can't st and how they worship this jerk Kennedy.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 18, 2008 12:09 AM
Les, there are some and Kennedy is one of them, that are a big part of the enemy within.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 18, 2008 12:18 AM
Mark, ditto that!
I am not a compassionate conservative and never will be. My compassion is passionate and saved for those that deserve it. Kennedy will never deserve my compassion and imo he is a waste of air and space.

Jack, giggle..... you never ever have to feel like that.
Right after I did this post we left to go out to lunch. But right before we left I noticed at a couple of other blogs the owner of the blog said...."NO negative comments about Kennedy allowed. "
I almost fell off my chair, the two blogs I saw this at were/ are Republcian blogs. Maybe because I am American first, and conservative second it makes a differnce not sure. And Republican third. hahaa
I agree with what you said Jack and thanks for the dates too for Mary Jo Kopechne.

Lynn,......."Maybe God is finally getting back to him for what he did to Mary Jo. Poor girl never had a chance.".....yes she never had a chance.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 18, 2008 12:35 AM
Rhod yes I agree the same thing sure does apply to Ted Kennedy. Thanks for the Churchill quote.

Ted Kennedy is getting what he deserves. I hope he stays alive long enough to reflect on the damage he has done to this country. Not that he would actually recognize it or admit it. He was allowed to spend way too much time in U.S. politics. Karma is a beautiful thing it is only a shame that it didn't happen sooner. The Kennedys continue to go down one by one I guess you reap what you sow.....and they call them American royalty....I don't think so.
