I'm glad he saw them. Maybe (but I doubt it), he will realize that they gave their all for him, too so he can rip them up one side and down the other, chew them up and spit them out. Maybe he'll feel some remorse, some guilt. But I doubt it.
I'll bet he didn't even put his flag out this past weekend.

This clown doesn't know the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, certainly because he never observed either one, participated in any ceremony, or gave either day a second thought.

Instead, the remainder of his "speech" was to whimper about how veterans are victimized, expecially women military personnel. Liberalism has no soul, no reverence, no dignity, no melancholy, no joy, no metaphysics and no love.

It's all about politics, about power and control. Horrible.

As in my post "God's right hand man" they gave there all so he and his ilk can be A-holes and say stupid s*&t. I live in a small village and we had a memorial day parade. It did pass by in front of our house so I was able to get my wife out on the front porch and into a chair so she could watch it. My son waited out front for over a half hour. Unfortunately due to her health I could not go down to the wreath laying. However small it was very nice.

Vice President Dan Quayle was permanently labeled by Democrats and the MSM as being stupid for misspelling potato as "potatoe" one time. President and Commander in Chief wannabe Barack Obama has been making gaffe after gaffe with Democrats and the MSM giving him a pass on what Dan Quayle would have been verbally tarred and feathered and run out of town.

Is Barack Obama getting a pass because he is a Democrat, a liberal, or someone who needs affirmative action to "succeed"? Unfortunately for the country, I fear it is the trifecta of all three.

Making a gaffe on the campaign trial is to be expected. Making gaffe, after gaffe, after gaffe ... shows that Barack Obama is a story telling hustler with no real substance to what he says.

Or maybe he's stuck in the mud. He is now seeing dead people, afterall that's what he was talking about seeing the long list of Veterans (although he doesn't mention, who the long line of fallen heroes are.) who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

With all the baggage he drags along with him, I am really surprised he has lasted this long.

Obama reminds me of the Wide Receiver's Lament, after Dallas had won a Super Bowl.

Les, what was never reported about this was that Quayle never misspelled potato, it was the students teacher who did. She held up cue cards for VP Quayle and when he read her spelling of "potatoe", he figured her being a teacher had to be right. Dan Quayle was too much of a man and gentleman to place the blame on the woman teacher. He took the hit and ridicule from the MSM and public and never once put the blame where it belonged, with the teacher.

Now I wonder if they were soldiers of the Red Army that he saw remembering his great uncle parading into Aushwitz to liberate the camp? Perhaps he saw some people hiding in the attic with his uncle. I'm not making light of the trauma many of our military may have suffered after the war but this guy seems to have taken a page from Hillary's book.
