McCain Planning Climate Change Tour
McCain planning climate change tour
Examiner.com Seattle from Drudge
"We've gotten our hands on an advanced transcript of this weekend's "The Chris Matthews Show" on NBC and the British Broadcasting Corporation's Katty Kay offered this nugget during the show's "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" segment:"John McCain is going to be doing more of these themed tours of America, and one of them is going to be on energy and global climate change. It could get him into trouble with Republicans, of course, and with the base, who don't think there is much climate change going on, but it is something that he's very passionate about and he's going to be talking about it."
.
And this from last weeks O'Reilly show:
O'REILLY: You voted against ANWR drilling. You voted against ANWR.
MCCAIN: Yes, and I'll vote against drilling if they want to drill in the Grand Canyon, and I'll vote against it if they want to drill in the Everglades. And I will try to make it more attractive for Florida and California and other states to have drilling off of their coasts, but I'm not going to force them to because...
O'REILLY: But no one lives in ANWR.
MCCAIN: No, it's pristine beauty.
O'REILLY: So what? Who sees it?
MCCAIN: Well, all I do is believe that we have to preserve some of the great natural treasures of this earth...
O'REILLY: In the Arctic Circle?
MCCAIN: ...no matter where they are, my friend. And I...
O'REILLY: You know, a lot of people aren't going to like that.
MCCAIN: I know a lot of people don't like it, but I am also an environmentalist.
Wild Thing's comment........
A climate change tour.....Oh mty gosh!
I never saw anything like it how McCain could care less about the conservatives vote.
Not only that, but he is saying he believes the lies from Gore and his ilk. That is SCARY that he is so unable to tell the difference. No alarm going off inside his head when he is presented with BS vs. something that is true and actually happening.

I guess Chinese drilling rigs offshore Florida in Cuban waters is OK, but we prohibit ourselves from drilling. Yikes, where do these people get their ideas.

He's been spending way too much time in the basement with the Mushrooms. Just like he treats the American People, we are always kept in the dark and fed lots of bullshit.
According to the latest X-perts report, Climate Change, or at least Global Warming has been put on hold for about 5 years. Now how is that possible ?
McCain is as bad as Obama or Clinton on this topic. Either they are all completely ignorant or this is the biggest scam ever perpetrated on the American People.

The only way out of this mess I can see is to elect Juan McCain by a landslide, and begin articles of impeachment at the first hint of anti-American activities. It should occur in the first twenty minutes of his Presidency.

Watch or listen to the transcripts of when O'Reilly was talking to McCain. When O'Reilly starts to question McCain hard about ANWAR, you can tell in McCains voice how he's starting to tense up. He doesn't like being questioned on his answers. When O'reilly says that "a lot of people aren't going to like that", you can really sense the anger in McCain's voice.

McPain is being a McPain. A climate change tour? Please. Get real. Where I live we had one of the coldest winters in several years here and today we're only going up to about 70, which is about 10 degrees cooler than we should be. Saturday night felt like winter with the massive winds that blew through here with the rain.
This is normal and it's best to leave Mother Nature alone! If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
We have such grand intentions and we go too far and end up making it worse.
I, for one, am enjoying the cooler spring. My daughter's graduation yesterday was wonderfully cool and the sun was shining--it was perfect!
So everyone needs to stop being alarmists and get with the program.

McCain is politiking. Getting on a popular bandwagon endorsed by his potential rivals decreases the need to debate. It also attracts a segment of voters. He will throw out a few tidbits to conservatives, but he figures he already has that vote.
This environmental tour will get him some favorable attention from the moonbat group, and the MSM which will attack him viciously as soon as the Democrat primary is decided.

The Peacock's plumage is showing his years of brainwashing. As an insider he's parroting exactly what the party bosses of both parties want, the Democrat party has embraced the UN and it's Communist-Socialist agenda and the Republican party has followed in lockstep. It seems to be only a matter of which party gets to hand over our sovereignty first and enslave the rest of us. Neither have I forgotten that Stewart Udall from Arizona tried his best to stop initial drilling in Alaska and that he was fundamental in setting up ANWR amongst other environmental lockups the McCain subscribes to. As a nation we can't achieve energy independence by depending on the UN and the Muzzies.
Having spent 20 winters in lah lah land I'd love to take Johnny boy to ANWR in late December or January and let him see and experience for himself the pristine environment, better yet, take him there in mid July and let the SOB hike the 180 miles from the mouth of the Sagavanirktok River to Annuktuvik Pass then let him walk out from the Inupiat village at Annuktuvik Pass to Fairbanks. I'll be generous and let him walk the Dalton Highway from there so he won't have to hike in the moguls and the Devil's Club, he will only have to cope with pristine mother nature.
He only knows what the environmentalists keep harping and neither he nor they have ever investigated the truth for themselves. McCain's forte is money manipulation and scamming.

I've never considered voting libatarian before as they have no chance of success. But given that GWB and JMcC are only 1/2 conservative I'll give Bob Barr a look this time around. The libatarians do not have a chance but the Republican party of the last few years does not mesaure up the what I thought I was voting for and something has to change.

John McCain's Climate Change Tour is a sure path to his defeat next November. Voters who buy into this crap don't want a RINO running on the Democratic platform when they can get the real thing in socialist and liberal B. Hussein Obama or Hillary & Bill Clinton.
Someone should take McCain on a "Straight Talk" express ride about drilling in Alaska and off the shores of California and Florida (and other Atlantic coast sites) as the primary short and medium term solution to the dependency on foreign oil crisis.

Bob, exactly, I wish I knew why they think like this. It goes against common sense for one thing and the answer to our countires need for oil is right here at home but we keep giving in to touchie feelie enviro's.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 12, 2008 07:19 PM
Mark, oh how funny is that...LMAO, put on hold for 5 years. That has me really laughing.
Pssst McCain, you are going to waste a lot of gas traveling on your global warming tour for nothing. heh heh
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 12, 2008 07:22 PM
RWB.....there ya go. hahhahahaha
We are in such trouble I just keep shaking my head. helpppppp us!
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 12, 2008 07:25 PM
BobF your so right, I saw the show too, and also McCain leaned forward too when he was getting tense and starting to get angry.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 12, 2008 07:29 PM
Lynn I agree....."leave Mother Nature alone".
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 12, 2008 07:31 PM
Tom, yes the media is just waiting in the wings that's for sure, a tiny bit has begun but not much.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 12, 2008 07:35 PM
Jack good idea.
I can just imagine God laughing at the stupidity of lefties in doing all they can to avoid the things God gave us right here in our homeland. Like the joke about the guy praying for help in a flood and God sends, a boat, a chopper, etc. and then God says something about how stupid the guy is to not take anything he sent to help him get off his roof in a flood. hahaha
We have oodles of oil just waiting to be tapped.

Odin this whole thing is such a mess. I just keep feeling like the RNC could care less about conservatives anymore. whew I truly hate this.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 12, 2008 07:43 PM
Les, I am getting to the point where I feel like a bystander in my heart. You know just waiting to see what happenes next kind of feeling.
