"Communist " Democrat Party Takes Votes Away From Their People
Dems decide on Florida, Michigan delegates
Democratic Party officials restored renegade state Michigan to its presidential convention Saturday with halved voting rights, but Hillary Clinton's camp said it may challenge the ruling.
The Democratic National committee's rules and bylaws committee voted 19 to 8 to restore the northern state, after earlier voting to reinstate Florida, which also broke party rules by bringing its primary forward to January.
Clinton, who won the primary, in which Obama's name was not on the ballot, will get 69 delegates, who will each only have half a vote in nominating the party's presidential nominee.
Obama will get 59 delegates, who will also have half a vote under the plan.
But Clinton's senior advisor Harold Ickes, who had argued that Obama should get no votes, said the former first lady's supporters had been hijacked.
"Mrs Clinton has instructed me to reserve her rights to take this to the credentials committee," Ickes said.
The committee is due to meet in July as preparations accelerate for the party convention.
The rules and bylaws panel earlier voted 27-0 for the compromise Florida plan, which will give primary winner Clinton a net gain of 19 delegates to the convention but leave her well behind Barack Obama in the total delegate count.
The plan will see all the state's delegates , and superdelegates (top party officials) restored, but they will each have only half a vote at the convention in Denver in August to crown the party's presidential challenger.
At a fiercely contested meeting at a Washington hotel, the committee earlier rejected Clinton's bid to have the Florida delegation seated in full.
Clinton's angry supporters chanted "Denver, Denver" demanding the row be taken to the party convention in August and "Madame President" "Madame President."

What the Democratic National Committee decides today will affect whether Greta Scriboni, a lifelong Democrat, deserts the party and votes for Republican John McCain in November.
"This coronation of Barack Obama is just not sitting well with Hillary supporters," Scriboni said.
Scriboni, 52, stood at the bar in the Marriott Wardman hotel today, listening to the arguments made to the Democratic National Committee about whether to seat Florida and Michigan delegates. Other protesters, tourists and the curious also gathered outside and inside the hotel.

There’s an old axiom that says ‘Reminds me of a Chinese fire drill’ and that is exactly what the Dems are conducting, a ‘Chinese fire drill’, one that takes place while panicked disorganization is in full bloom…
We all know that the left is pretty loony, and most Dems fit that ticket to a ‘T’, but if I was a Florida or Michigan Dem, and thank God I am neither, but if I was, and I wanted to show the DNC just what I thought of their silly-assed ruling that throws MY vote away, I’d turn around and vote Republican, Independent or maybe even sit the whole thing out just to show those goofy asshats like Howard Dean that I was not at all happy with their way of rendering MY vote irrelevant…
Florida and Michigan are nothing less than a nightmare for the DNC, and there is no way that the Florida or Michigan voters are going to be happy with the outcome, no matter what is decided, and I love it, serious and deep divides in the DNC are only working to the advantage of the RNC…
A lot of Republicans and nearly all REAL Conservatives know that McCain isn’t Superman, he is not going to, and cannot, fix everything that is wrong with the RNC, there’s just too much wrong and he’s too old, there’s not that much time left for McCain, it’s going to take years to correct the travesty that the RNC has become, and while many of us DO consider McCain to be nothing more than the lesser of ALL evils, at least the RNC has done one thing right, whether you like McCain or not, he’s what you have and you either back him and unite ALL Repubs and Conservatives in a push to get him elected or you end up with a dipstick like Obama in the Oval Office and this nation completely down the toilet…
I don’t make any secret of this fact, I can’t stand McCain, I think he’s one of the worst choices the RNC could have made, I don’t think he’s a REAL Republican by ANY standard, today’s definition or that of the Reagan era, I know he’s not a true Conservative, he sides with the Dems and libbers more than he does with the right, and yet he’s still the best of this current lot that’s up on the block…

I think it is a real hoot that the DNC is blatantly disenfrachising their own voters. This is the travesty they always accuse Republicans of doing.
So now the Michigan and Florida delegates are getting half a vote, why not 3/5's of a vote. But now I suppose that is passe now. This is what the democrats really think of their own people. For this reason, they have the Superdelegates, just in case, the 'people' pick the wrong candidate, then they can straighten everybody out. Because basically, the people of the democrat party are too stupid to pick the right candidate,... the one the Chairman wants.
During the '04 election Hanoi John's big thing was to prevent the Repubs from disenfranchising democrat voters. Maybe now he can learn the truth just look in the mirror, you dumb putz. When you look at the leaders of the democrats and the repubs too, I mean really look close...and they call us stupid ?

Texas Fred, I agree the DNC will not fix this situation they have caused no matter what. I am so glad abouto it too, they did it to themselves.
Regarding McCain I agree, I just keep having a fight in my head back and forth how can I stand voting for him augh. But I sure as heck do NOT want Obama, no way.
I am angry with the RNC too for being more rino now then conservative,for moving so far away from we the conservative base. waaaaaaa

Mark, haha me too. It could not happen to a political party that deserved it more. The horrible things that have said over the years calling Bush a Nazi and the lies about him and lies about Republicans.
Your right too about the way they are treating their voters. Oh my gosh and with smiles on their faces while they take their votes away too.

Perhaps they should rename themselves the UDNC. The un democratic national party. The states should have reserved the right to hold their elections when they pleased, not at the pleasure of the likes of Dean. As far as Michigan, B. Hussein declined to participate. Why should he get any delegates more than those that were written in. The same with Florida. Today, people should not be proud of being Republican, but should be ashamed of being Democrats.

They should rename themselves the UDNC or un democratic national committee. The states should reserve the right as to when they want to hold their party elections. It should not be in the hands of the like of Dean and the other democrat henchmen. He should get no more delegates in either Florida or Michigan than he might get from whatever were write in votes.
