Obama Explains National Anthem Stance

Hot on the heels of his explanation for why he no longer wears a flag pin,
presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama was forced to explain why he
doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.
According to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171,
During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present
except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag
with the right hand over the heart.
'As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking
sides,' Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the
American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a
war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all.
It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose.
I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem,
then I might salute it.'
Also this by B. Hussein Obama:
"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest. Instead, I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism."(ABC News, Oct. 4, 2007)

Since I first heard/read it, I realized his explanation (second quote) was bullshit. Obama's "real patriotism" is defined by TALKING!
A flag pin represents something you already feel, not what you DECIDE. Leftism is an emotional disorder. It complicates everything because complication, for them, is the first sign of intelligence and education.
That's also bullshit. The hardest thing to do is to simplify..anything, everything. Obama thinks he's an intellectual because he's been told he's an intellectual, in the same way that the moron John Kerry thought he was in an intellectual. If they were both intellectuals, they'd both know how stupid they are.

The man hates America. His wife and many of his associates hate America. And millions flock to this jerk's sales pitch of no agenda, just some undefined "change and hope". So many in America are thoughtless, clueless, selfish and stupid. Hope they don't go to the trouble to vote.

The Friday after 9-11-01, at the National Cathedral in DC a prayer service was held... At The U.S. Capitol reps and sens met on the steps to recite the Pledge of Allegiance as a show of unity. I have a vhs tape showing (from C-Span) the members of the House have their LEFT hands over their hearts! I doubt if 'Obamanation' know the words to the Pledge of Allegiance and The Star Spangled Banner! These treasonous militants disgust me...

Perhaps it would be fitting to broadcast Toby Keith's Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (an angry American) into Obama's Trinity United Church of Christ while his ilk are singing GD America..
