Wild Thing's comment.....
God bless our troops and this Army Ranger. I pray so hard they know how much we all appreciate all they do and how proud of them we all are.

Our military has NEVER failed. Our politicians have failed our military and our nation but our military as never failed.

In Vietnam, most of us knew what we neeeded to win. We needed to secure South Vietnam(we did after Tet 68). Then we(and/or the South Vietnamese forces) needed to go north into North Vietnam, straight to Hanoi and destroy the communist government. Our politicians gave the Vietnam victory away.
Our politicians today are repeating their treachery in Vietnam. This Ranger has a clear picture of what is happening and what is needed. Meantime too many of our politicians are grandstanding, sneaking pork into legislation and planning for reelection.

Tom your right, that is exactly what happened and thank you for sharing about that.
So true too....."politicians are grandstanding, sneaking pork into legislation and planning for reelection."

One price of our democracy is that people have the right and freedom to vote without any requirement that they be informed and do it responsibly. So, we have Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Murtha, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the rest of the Defeatocrats running the country.

Les,your right, I sometimes think there should be a test given to all first time voters. Questions about how our government works for one thing, too many people especially democrat voters when they keep saying it is all the President's fault and he has all the power to do things tells me they have no clue.
