Son's Of Iraq Working With Our Troops

A Multinational Force Iraq map shows the number of Iraqis who've become part of the Sons of Iraq working to counter al-Qaida and insurgents in Iraq.
U.S. Army Gen. David H. Petraeus submitted the chart as part of his testimony before Congress April 8 and 9, 2008.

Too bad Gen Petraeus wasn't military commander in 2003. His policies have taken us from a near disaster to a successful operation. Converting and using the local militia forces has just about negated al-Quedas ablilty to work in local communities where the terrorist group was at it's most effectiveness.

Tom that would have made this so much better, I agree. Gen Petraeus had done wonders and if only he had been in charge from the beginning.
