And the 1960 presidential election where dead people in Chicago voted for JFK? Sounds like Chicago is pro-second ammendment to me, eh?

I pointed out on some message boards in response to the US casualties in Iraq that in 14 major US cities in 2006 there were more murders than KIA in Iraq during the entire war. I would have to add another city to meet the totals now. It is more dangerous to be in Chicago than for an Illinois soldier to be in Iraq. I posted this on March 25, 2008.
Total military deaths in Iraq over 5 years = 4000.

Gang crime has gone up in every city across the nation and no one seems to want to do anything about it.
Even us small American towns aren't safe anymore.
If we want something done about it, we're going to have to do it ourselves and not wait for the government to come to the rescue.
Obamanation is weak on everything except Islam and socialism and rights revocations.

(I think if more parents had kept their kids to home, stopped having baby after baby for the welfare money and medicare, and held their kids responsible for bad things they did, I think we'd be in a better world all around.)

...last night they were telling that between Friday night and early Monday morning, 36 people were shot in Chicago...

Wright is now paying back the White people he hates so much, He moved into a 1.5 million dollar house in a Rich White Neighborhood. That'll teach 'em.

It is interesting that those who are opposed to the death penalty in all criminal cases and those like Barack Hussein Obama who are opposed to the death penalty for gang related murders seem to have no problem with criminals carrying out the "death penalty" against innocent victims. I guess that is why we have a Criminal Justice system and not a Victims Justice system in this country.

I prefer a President with the power and responsibility to appoint justices to the Supreme Court and federal judges to care just as much for the rights of law abiding citizens as they do for criminals who are citizens as well as illegal aliens who commit crimes in this country.

Been to Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and a few more big cities, they all have one thing in common. Let's see if I grasp the situation. We have Chicago, long known as a bastion of criminal activity, the city is a sea of blue in a background of red like most big cities, it's controlled by Democrats or RINO's who prefer a staggering murder rate just to maintain their control. Don't want to alienated the constituents by cracking down on their errant children nor do we want to piss off the mob bosses and cut off the kickbacks. So what will they do? They'll create Gun Free Zones, disarm the law abiding citizen, impose a zero tolerance policy on the good kids, then let the hoodlums run free. If it were a rabid dog tearing up the neighborhood you'd terminate the threat, if it were a Smallpox epidemic you'd quarantine and eradicate the disease, but in the United States a rampaging murderer in a big city has super immunity from justice, hell it just might hurt their feelings or damage their self esteem. Most of these hoods have a record as long as their lifespans, they get arrested and put back on the street when they should be treated as adults, locked away and the murderers executed. Until the public wakes up and elects someone other than a slimy weasel like Obama, the citizen's will be weakened where the nation's innocent kids and adults are going to die as bystanders, direct victims of murder or as a result of the elicit drugs they purvey.

Weapons should be required in urban Chicago, as in every major city. After a little mayhem, most of this would stop.

Chicago has tight gun restrictions, like New Haven, but New Haven had 18 murders last year, mostly black on black crime, with a twelve-year old girl one of the victims. Her killers were apparently on a revenge spree.

New Haven's solution is to offer Target (no kidding) gift certificates for turning in a gun. No rap sheet reviews or other incentives to go straight, just a gift certificate.

But then, New Haven is a sanctuary city for illegals. Smart people down there.

When a city does not come down hard on crime it just might as well say go ahead. It ticks me off because then the gun grabber blame the guns and not the jerks doing the crimes. sigh

I want so much for my shoulder to get well the rest of the way so I can also go and get my canceled carry permit. I think they give a test for it and I want to be at my best.

I have been to those same cities a lot and they are run by dems that sure like to give in to the criminals and forget about the victims most of the time.
