Damn Time, and the mindset that thinks the sacrilegious altering of an American icon is some kind of statement. Sadly, there are plenty of spoiled Americans who agree with Time or just don't care. Their self importance and momentary trivial needs are more important than respect for the sacrifices that have given them their freedom of opulance.

Yes, Dr. Strangeloveb52isok. My husband and I have many Patriot Ancestors, some of them well known, others just ordinary folks and farmers with pitch forks.

Equating this Global Warming Hoax to World War II is akin to denying the Holocaust. The magnitudes of each are astronomical when compared to the trumped up Climate Change Hysterics. Then they Time touts for a solution buy these Toxic bulbs and we will all be better off.

Sadly though all three candidates are stuck in 2nd gear when it comes to this Hoax and can not or will not see that there is no truth in fact or science to support this. Time spends more time trying to scare the masses that actually printing the truth about any subject they dare print.

Like Obama who thinks 'Religion is the opiate of the masses', Time thinks 'the Masses are asses' and will believe anything they print. There is no checks and balances nor responsibility for anything any more.

I haven't heard back for that despicable editor, I don't expect any reply either. That flag was raised the day I was born, it's special to me. Most of the battle zones of WWII have been rehabilitated and you'd never suspect such devastation. For anyone who hasn't seen the aftermath of WWII, visit Guam, Honolulu or the Aleutian Islands, the signs are starkly visible from the air, humans from both sides died in those battles for differing ideologies. Both my flags are up 24/7 God bless America.

Same here WT... EVERY DAY is FLAG DAY. I flew a 3' X 5' Bennington '76' Flag yesterday and she looked grrreat for 231 years old! It really p*sses off the secular blue state socialists that live AROUND me! Of the 50 houses in our countryside development, I only saw 5 US Flags flying today, and we're only ... 12 miles away from a U.S. military base? These are the dark and secular times we live in but never retreat nor surrender.... NEVER! Liberty or Death, eh?

The new place I moved into had seven Flags flying, mine one of them.....it'll be better next year.

WE have a 'wolf' in our conservative trenches? GREAT!! Devil Dogs, Wolves, etc! My family's relatives, and Frau Vaders have had over 16 German & U.S. military personnel serve on both sides of the Atlantic and in the Pacific since World War I! Pope Benedict XVI is the same age as my father (WW II / Korean War Gunny) and Frau Vader's father - born in 1927! A grrreat year for the NY Yankees too, eh?

Darth, we have areas here that a person will see a lot of Flags flying then going into other areas an few flags.

We got lucky and we have a lot of them in the area our home is. Not every house but a lot of them.
