Then again, is CO2 Gas McCain much better? Some choices we have.

Obama believes government is the cure for everything. The man is a Communist. If you've studied Communism they you will know that Communism can't be obtained until Socialism is achieved first. Obama will take this country into Socialism so deep we may never recover.

Obama believes state and local governments can constrain your 2nd Amendment rights. So, he must believe they can constrain all your other rights too.

People better wake up when it comes to Obama. With Hillary you know what you're getting but with Obama it will be opening up a Pandora's box.

Where in that clause does it say the State or Local governments have a Right to constrain a part of the constitution.

So how does he come to that conclusion ?

How is He going to make sure the 'Criminals' don't have guns. Nobody followed up on that question. Criminals on the whole don't obey the laws in the first place so how does anyone 'make sure criminals don't have guns'.

Of course another restrictive gun law(feelgoodism) that only the law abiding citizen will obey. Of course the criminal will not.

He is against the Concealed Carry Permits too. He already said that in Pennsylvania.

An aside, James Carville was asked about Pennsylvania, and he said, "you have Pittsburg on one side and Philadelphia on the other side, and Alabama in the middle".

So all of us bitter people living here in the 'Alabama' of Pennsylvania had better stop clinging to our guns, and go to church more often.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the debate last night. I say unfortunately because to defeat your enemy, you must know your enemy!!!

It sounds like their comments and responses (if you want to call them that) clearly depict the sad state of affairs we face from the Democrat party. Their comments like "Hilary: We don't know what will happen when we withdraw from Iraq, but we need to withdraw so we can fight in Afghanistan." and "Obama: I'm pulling out of Iraq no matter what the generals tell me. I'm giving them a new mission: get out of Iraq." show their total lack of understanding and comprehension of the Middle East situation. They are simply pandering to public sentiment fueled by the ignoramic news media!!! They make comments like this and then have the gall to say that Bush didn't have a plan?!?!?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!

And Obama's response to gun control is ludicrous!!!! One of the first steps to a totalitarian government is to disarm the people. Then you can take full control. Did this buttwipe ever study the rise and fall of Hitler's Germany? Oh DUH....what was I thinking? They don't teach history anymore!!!! Only the PC version!!!!!

It would appear to me that "Q-Tips" is going to beat out "Hips" which leaves the only half-assed hope for this country in the hands of RINO McCain!!! Take one look at the Borg collective on Star Trek TNG and Voyager series. The Borg were based on socialism. Everyone is the same, no one is different. You will be assimilated.

Both of them are for bigger government, higher taxes, more unemployment, more government handouts, more terrorism, more restrictions of rights.

I did not see the debate. From these comments I really wish I had. Maybe for once the moderators did not throw just softballs.

Their discomfort aside, one of these Marxists will soon be the Democrat nominee for President. That is a frightening prospect as we conservatives look for the slightest glimmer of reason to support McCain. Those few slight glimmers will have to suffice as we work to defeat the Dem, most likely Hussein O.

I have raged against George Bush on this site, as he has disappointed me over and over. However, he has been on my side on taxes, guns and mostly on the war. Bush will seem like a Mount Rushmore candidate compared to the next president. We are in for a rough ride. John is right about needing to get the Congress in the R column.

I have also harped to my fellow commenters about arming, buying guns and ammo while you can. Please do this. I am buying yet another handgun. I buy ammo almost weekly. This debate pointed out that after January all bets are off considering the 2nd Amendment. We may lose that right through legislation. Bill Clinton tried and only a Repub Congress kept him from going beyond his already restrictive assault weapons ban. Even if you don't like guns, buy one and some ammo, put it away for future need by your family. We are literally talking maybe only months left that we have some rights left to buy arms.
