A Video Tribute To Our Troops
Wild Thing's comment.......
The song is called Home by Chris Doughtry. The video was made by a Vietnam Veteran, a Marine and at YouTube he says....." I made this to Chris Daughtrys song Home. I know it doesn't fit perfect but I think it expresses the feelings of the troops in Iraq and Afhghanistan. As a former Marine who served in Vietnam I salute these young men and women and I pray for them."
....Thank you Tincan Sailor for sending this video to me.

Well done video. Makes you realize the sacrifices troops make while defending us.

Wouldn't it be great if we lived in a country where the MSM gave an equal amount of coverage to the troops and their families as in this video as they do for the number of deaths, protests, and critics of the war?

It captures the essence of the sacrifices made by our young people, their families and exposes the hipocrisy of the media, congress and the slime who denegrate them. Thanks WT and Tincan Sailor this is an excellent video.

Thanks everyone and it would be awesome to see this from our media. I agree, I will never give up hoping that day will come when they change to really supporting our troops.

PS: Just found out today my wife's best friend's son Matt graduated from USN Bootcamp and will be assigned to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70?) out of Norfolk. I believe TOP GUN was filmed on this mighty carrier too? Pray for Matt and his family and he realizes freedom isn't free!! AMEN & LET'S ROLL & ... ANCHORS AWAY.
