Police Give Permission for Rally at Times Square Recruiting Station Island
The Police have allowed a rally to be held at the Times Square Recruiting Station Island, 43rd Street and Broadway, to show of encouragement and support for our troops and our recruiters.
Date : Saturday March 8, 2008
Time: from 1300 to 1600
There should be a big turnout, Partriot Guard Riders and Gathering of Eagles, and all Veteran’s groups and any of you that wish to attend to show support of our troops, our Veterans and our recruiters are most welcome too.
Here is a Times Square Cam and they might be on here on Saturday where you can also see the rally, not positive how the cam thing works.

Watch and see how the press will twist this into a "bunch of war-mongers out in support of those nasty recruiters" story and give Code Pink plenty of air time to trash the military supporters. Wish I could be there, I'd love to have an "exchange of ideas" with some of the Code Pink group or their ilk who will show up.

John McCain should be there to show his encouragement and support for our troops and our recruiters. At an appropriate time he could ask where Senators Clinton and Obama are?

Lynn, yes and maybe Michael Moore will show up too. I am not sure if he lives in NY or not, but if he does he might be there too.

Les, if McCain went to something like this it would be so totally awesome and maybe put him on the road to healing some of how we feel about him. He probably would not be allowed to though because of the danger in that kind of crowd but I know people that would say screw the danger and the crowd and they would do it even if running for President.
