God's Busy
GOD'S BUSY
If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks !!!!!!!
A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments.
He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU.
One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes." The lecture room fell silent.
You could hear a pin drop.
Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God. I'm still waiting." It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him, knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.
The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, "
What the heck is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"
The Marine calmly replied, "God was too busy today protecting America's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot like you did............................ So, He sent me."

I received this in an e-mail quite a while ago and shared it with many friends. I also posted it on a web page on my sight http://www.boudica.us/thoughts.html
and coincidentally posted it for a second time on the yahoo finance halliburton message board on 3/25 in response to someone posting "The few. The proud. The useless." in reference to the marines. A good friend's son just went back for his second tour in Iraq (marines). I for one am proud of him and the many others making the sacrifice.

It's a timely message, thanks John. The sad truth revealed in the story is that the schools, and schools of higher learning have all gone anti-American, anti-Military and Godless, just like Communists want it. Thanks WT for posting this.

Tom, it is fun I think how sometimes things like this joke will show up in various military services like you said paratrooper.
I love when that happens because it makes it more personal for the person telling it.

Jack yes they sure have. Now if I meet a teacher I want so badly to lay into them instead of thanking them for being a teacher. So I jsut stay silent till I see if they mouth off or not then I lay into them.
