Obama’s Communist Mentor
Obama mentor identified as communist The mysterious "Frank" cited as a friend and adviser by Democratic president contender Barack Obama while he was growing up in Hawaii has been identified as Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the old Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA. The identification comes from Cliff Kincaid in his column, "Obama's Communist Mentor," which was made available on the Accuracy in Media website. ....( from Wild Thing.......the is excellent and important to read) Kincaid, who earlier reported on Obama's pending plan to ship $845 billion overseas to battle "global poverty" as evidence of his socialist leanings, said the newly revealed connection is even more worrisome. Kincaid noted Obama has admitted attending "social conferences" and seeing Marxist literature. "But he ridicules the charge of being a 'hard-core academic Marxist,' which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes." He described the link as "ominous." He also reported Kathryn Takara, a professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, confirmed that Davis is the "Frank" in Obama's book. She did her dissertation on Davis, and wrote that he brought, "an acute sense of race relations and class struggle throughout America and the world" and that he openly discussed subjects such as American imperialism, colonialism and exploitation, according to AIM."Let's challenge the liberal media to report on this," he wrote in his column. "Will they have the honesty and integrity to do so?"
"Obama's communist connection adds to mounting public concern about a candidate who has come out of virtually nowhere, with a brief U.S. Senate legislative record, to become the Democratic Party frontrunner for the U.S. presidency," he wrote.
In Obama's book, "Dreams From My Father," he repeatedly refers to his friend and adviser as "Frank."
"The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several Communist front organizations," Kincaid said.
"Decades ago, the CPUSA had tens of thousands of members, some of them covert agents who had penetrated the U.S. government. It received secret subsidies from the old Soviet Union," Kincaid wrote.
He noted even Obama describes "Frank" has having "some modest notoriety once."
Kincaid notes that a history professor in Houston reported that Davis "befriended" a family whose son was named Barack Obama, "who retracing the steps of Davis eventually decamped to Chicago."
"It was in Chicago that Obama became a 'community organizer' and came into contact with more far-left political forces, including the Democratic Socialists of America…," Kincaid wrote. "The SDS laid siege to college campuses across America in the 1960s, mostly in order to protest the Vietnam War, and spawned the terrorist Weather Underground organization."

Interesting how every single far-left publication has endorsed Obama. They know a socialist when they see one.
I put CPUSA into google and to see if their site had endorsed Obama yet. They haven’t, but did anyone know they have a web store? Where you can buy “stuff” to display your hatred of capitalism?

Very interesting and disturbing. I am sure is known by a lot of important people but is anyone raising notice about it? I seldom watch the news, but I will bet these communist connections of Obama are never mentioned, only his charisma.
We have two weeks until our primary here in Texas. The presidential political ads are endless and overwhelming in number. All of Obama's ads are of short clips of speeches. Lots of emotion and promising, but saying nothing of substance.

What did we expect? It's so sad when all anyone wants anymore is a handout, not a handup.
Let's just all work for the government, give them everything we make and then let them dictate terms and send us what they "think" we can live on.
I am NOT falling for this. I earned every penny I ever made--the hard way. I should keep every dime and use it how I see fit.
And you know what's funny is a lot of the wealthier and the poorer Americans are all for socialize this and that. Us in the middle think it's nuts to feel that way.
Of course, Obamanation's gonna have Communist ties, so does Hitlery--the looney left always has.

Obama's whole premise is to get the people to forget about their independance and rely more on the government. Entitlements, for one he wants to index the Minimum Wage to inflation...So much for any entry level jobs. We have all heard about the wolf being at the door, well he is here.
We are already at the door, ourselves, all a child has to do is act up and the school recommends he go to a shrink and they dope him up, to shut him up in class and the parents have little to say about it.
A disruptive child today is diagnosed ADD, ADHD or whatever, where years ago he would get a paddling (and more than likely get another when he got home) and that would be the end of the matter.
This is all part of becoming single minded and doing away with the individual, the individual will no longer be tolerated. Only the betterment of the State is to be the intended goal of any person.
This type of government, the Obama envisioned type, will not tolerate personal Liberty, or self-reliance, these are freedoms that will be the first go.
He should fit in well with Tom Hayden and the rest of their ilk.
70 % of the democrats in congress are already Socialists, but a Communist is the worst thing we could do to ourselves.
If Obama gets the democrat nomination then it will become imperative that we get a Conservative congress in there. Because I don't think McCain has a chance of even coming close to winning. McCain is a lot of things but one thing for sure he is not a communist.

Thank you for exposing this Mark. It is amazing that nobody is willing to research the background and agenda of the candidate, there is a wealth of information here about Barak Obama with lot's of links in the left margin for anyone interested in 'their' candidate.
We know of Hillary's 92-page thesis(pdf), "There is Only the Fight: An Analysis of the Alinsky Model," that explores the life and methods of Saul D. Alinsky. Clinton worked for Robert Treuhaft, a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and Harvard-trained lawyer for the party. The Harvard Law Bulletin said about Treuhaft: “He belonged to and served as attorney to the Communist Party of the United States for many years and defended the civil rights of groups such as the Black Panther Party, Vietnam War draft resisters, and members of Berkeley’s free speech movement.” Hillary would continue her association and support of the Black Panther cause while working as a law clerk for Treuhaft.” Treuhaft told Herb Caen of the San Francisco Examiner, “That was the time we were representing the Black Panthers, and she worked on that case.” Yet the Democrats ignore the facts.
Only two candidates that I know of have been honest about their core beliefs, Bernie Sanders and Ralph Nader, neither deny their backgrounds or beliefs and run under the independent banner and vote with and for the Democrats. I can respect that, it the honest thing to do. It's the hiding amongst the two parties disguised as either a Democrat or Republican that's dishonest.
Yes I surf the sewer sometimes WT and knew the CPUSA had a webstore, some really disgusting stuff over there. At one time they fielded their own candidates in the election process. This quote is quite telling:

Now I wonder where they all went? Why did the CPUSA stop putting their candidates in the arena? I'd venture to say most didn't come to the GOP.
If anyone wants they can compare the objectives of the CPUSA with that other CPUSA the Democrat Party. Zero, Zilch, Zed differences. Not that all Democrats are Communists, they simply are in denial of their party's core beliefs, that's why I left the Democrat Party back in '66.

This woman is not only a megalomaniac, she's mad. The Democratic Party has also lost its mind in pushing these two goons to the front, but this is what you get when you invite the Clintons in the door. Corruption, insanity and tyranny.

The two times I have heard when people switched parties one like you said in the 60's and then during Clinton's reign of terror. Both of those era's people I know have gone from Democrat to Republican. I wonder if it will happen again in my lifetime with people, once Obama gets in and starts his agenda full blast. Just a thought anyway.
