Dirty McCain Delegates Whore For Huckabee To Win
Romney took a solid lead in the first round of voting in West Virginia Republican Caucus. He was up 41% to Huckabee’s 33%. At that time, the McCain camp conceded that caucus and asked their caucus voters to vote for Mike Huckabee in the second round of voting. This was enough for Huckabee to eclipse Romney 52% to 47%.
Huckabee wins West Virginia on the second ballot and takes all 18 delegates.
Republican Mike Huckabee scored the first Super Tuesday victory, winning all 18 delegates at stake in West Virginia -- partially with the help of Sen. John McCain's backers.
The former Arkansas governor won with the support of 52 percent of the state's GOP convention delegates on the second round of balloting. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney came in second with 47 percent of the vote, and Sen. John McCain of Arizona was backed by 1 percent of the delegates.
Romney was ahead in the first round of voting in Charleston but failed to get the majority needed to win.
It appeared supporters of McCain, who placed a distant third on the first ballot, moved over to Huckabee, helping him carry the day.
Romney's campaign was furious over the "Washington backroom deal."
"Unfortunately, this is what Sen. McCain's inside Washington ways look like: He cut a backroom deal with the tax-and-spend candidate he thought could best stop Gov. Romney's campaign of conservative change," read a statement from Romney campaign manager Beth Myers.
"This is raw politics as it's really practiced," CNN senior political analyst Bill Schneider said. "The McCain supporters who were third in the first round decided to throw their weight behind Mike Huckabee in order to stop Mitt Romney from winning this convention. And look at that -- they did."
More from Romney's campaign:
“Governor Romney had enough respect for the Republican voters of West Virginia to make an appeal to them about the future of the party based on issues. This is why he led on today’s first ballot. Sadly, Senator McCain cut a Washington backroom deal in a way that once again underscores his legacy of working against Republicans who are interested in championing conservative policies and rebuilding the party.”
Wild Thing's comment........
MCCain threw his bitch a bone. ( sorry but this is a vile thing to do even from a democrat in his soul and heart like traitor McCain and Hick Huckabee).
Huck can’t win unless McLame throws him a bone. Huckabee is McCain's mini-me.
Romney is a good man, most certainly NOT even close to being the scum that McCain and Huck the hick are.

It seems Huckabee is openly opposing Romney and supporting McCain. Huckabee knows he doesn’t have a chance in the place of eternal fire of winning and I wouldn’t be surprised he he’s bucking for a VP slot if McCain wins. Huckabee could pull in the Evangelical base of the Republican Party and McCain knows it. Also, as a governor, Huckabee will bring in the executive experience McCain lacks.

Whatever honor McCain had up to this point, he's shelling out by the handful for his ego trip to the Presidency.
What I think will happen is that he'll have the delegates for the nomination, and he'll then whore himself enough to attract (he thinks) conservatives. It won't work, at least not with me.
No matter what he does, the pantomime will be the coming debates between himself and the Donk nominee. What the hell will they disagree about?
But he won't win. Those who built him up will tear him down; he'll look like a casket number up against Obama, and a pale imitation of Hillary...libs will go for the real thing.
This is a sad ending for McCain, in a way. So much potential and so little heart and good sense.

This amoral conduct is why I cannot stand either McCain or Huckabee. Huckabee is certainly not behaving like a man of God. In this situation he IS making deals with the Devil. They are not only backstabbing Romney. They are cheating conservative voters. Both have backgrounds of dishonesty and it shows up again. Look for more lying from these two crooks.

The only thing worse than McCain being the presidential nominee is for Huckabee to be the VP on the ticket with him. McCain is enough to keep me from voting for President while Huckabee being on the ticket would make me vote for Clinton or Obama.
John "Benedict Arnold" McCain's legacy will be the permanent damage that he inflicted on the Republican Party.

Some folks I've talked with say Huckabee must be good because he was a Preacher. I always remind them that Judas Iscariot was an Apostle and look what he did.

His true colors have shone through,I've been right about McCain all along, he's everything his fellow POW's claimed he was, as a collaborator. Amoral conduct is putting it mildly for McCain who behaves like a whore on Heroin. There are several states still voting and all the absentees yet to count. It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.
Chrissie, your statement earlier rings true "When I was a kid, my Father told me you are who you associate with."
Well I have the same adage, you are known by the company you keep.It is sure proving it's worth in this campaign. Bob Dole's letter chastising Rush Limbaugh for calling McCain a liberal, Romney's response: Bob Dole is “probably the last person I would have wanted to have write a letter for me.”

Does anyone know if does a Psyhchological profile on potential Pres. candidates. It would be interesting to see what McCains is.
If this POS get the nomination, I am waiting for him to explode on national TV, after getting some comment from a reporter or one the dem candidate.
I am either not going to vote, at least not for pres or maybe even vote for a democrat fo president. But I will not vote for McCain.
I heard Laura Ingraham say tonight, regardless who the Repubs offer as a candidate she will vote for him. Then why even bother criticising McCain. What has happened here is the RNC has gotten to her. So maybe she is not the conservative she thinks she is.
If we are going down the tube I don't want the Republicans leading the charge. I'd rather it be Hillary.

Mark - the RNC did not get to Laura. She is just in the predicament all us conservatives are stuck in. I hate, hate, hate to vote for McCain. But, I also hate for a Dem to be in the White House, especially one of these two, and maybe especially Obama.
What to do? Not vote? Possibly. I will certainly not vote for a Dem. But if McCain gets the Repub candidacy, I will probably have to vote for him, depending on who he picks as a running mate. That could turn off my vote. By the time the general election gets here, I may change my mind(200 times) and not vote for a prez.
The RNC is completely taken over by socialist/globalists and is too much like the DNC now. Hell, the same elite s.o.b's contribute to both partys. We are just going to have to hope for a true conservative resurgence somewhere, maybe a third party. Meantime, buy ammo, lots of ammo.

It looks like McCain and Clinton are the front runners so far, if come the general election and they still are, we may have to separate them with pry bars to tell which is which, we can't do much this election cycle between the Zealots and the Socialists and I'm gunshy of third parties but maybe it's time for a change next time around if there is a next time. I'm not sure I cotton to the name they've chosen nor what their platform is, nor if all are welcome except conservatives and Christians like the Democrat party. I have to agree Tom it's dismal at best.

Bob yes it is weird to see a grown man like Huckabee behave like he does about Romney. Jealousy maybe, I don't know, but he sure brings up the money a lot regarding Romney and McCain does too. LOL I guess it is something Huck and McCain can agree on oto hate Romney. Oh well.
Posted by: Wild Thing at February 6, 2008 12:09 AM
Rhod I think your absolutely right. That has to be his plan and like you said it won't work and not for me either.
Posted by: Wild Thing at February 6, 2008 12:11 AM
Tom I agree, I wish they would just leave messing with votes alone. Get an honest count and then everyone has to deal with it. They all want to win but this way is not winning.
Posted by: Wild Thing at February 6, 2008 12:17 AM
Bob...."Judas Iscariot was an Apostle and look what he did.".....Good point.
Your right, there is just something about Huck that makes my skin crawl.
Posted by: Wild Thing at February 6, 2008 12:18 AM
Les, Yes, I guess they don't care if the things they do effect the party they belong to.
Posted by: Wild Thing at February 6, 2008 12:20 AM
Jack, thanks, and thank you for the link in your second comment too.
It might get to where it has to get really bad and then maybe, just maybe the conssrvatives will be able to take America back and rescue our country. It sure does seem like it is on an avalanche to destruction.
Posted by: Wild Thing at February 6, 2008 12:41 AM
Tom yes he is not acting like any minister I ever met. Huck is a very sleezy man. ick
Posted by: Wild Thing at February 6, 2008 12:42 AM
Mark, I heard her say that too. She stood there and said that so early in the evening too. I was so surprised, I mean can't she hold out till the bitter end then say something like that. But to give up so fast like that and say such a thing it really threw me.
She said on her show that the RNC has contacted the talk show peoople to cool it on McCain. If that is the case then why did she make her show about how she was not going to cave in to them. Just weird for sure. sigh
Posted by: Wild Thing at February 6, 2008 12:46 AM
Tom, I will not compromise my principles for the sake of electing a RINO to the white house. For the sake of a party that doesn't give two shits what we think.
It was bad enough when Bod Dole ran for the job, but at least he was 'voteable' Dole was consistant. McCain has shown he is neither consistant nor true to any principles of what this country stands for.
So I will either not vote at all or vote for the House and Senate.
But as I said, it anyone is going to take us down a road toward socialism let it be a democrat and maybe the Republican party will wake up and maybe not, because we are headed for a point where we will have only one party, and this is the goal of the eleites.
