Yemen Loves Terrorists And Urges U.S.To Shut GITMO
Yemen urges U.S. to shut Guantanamo to win good-will

Yemen has called on the United States to free all detainees at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, saying the move would generate global good-will towards Washington.
About 100 Yemenis are being held at Guantanamo, making them the biggest group among the approximately 275 detainees there, according to Yemen's media.
"I hope that the United States releases all those held at Guantanamo, based on the principles of human rights, freedom and justice upon which your country was founded," President Ali Abdullah Saleh told President George W. Bush in a letter.
"I am sure that such an undertaking would draw a wide positive response from peoples and countries across the world," a senior Yemeni official quoted Saleh as saying in the letter.
Saleh said Yemen would study charges against the detainees and prosecute them under Yemeni laws.
A Yemeni official told Reuters that a security team from Yemen would visit Guantanamo and meet with the detainees in early February.
The United States has been under international pressure to shut down the prison in Cuba, which many human rights watchdogs say is illegal because detainees are being held there without charge.
Washington started sending suspected al Qaeda and Taliban captives there in 2002, after leading an invasion of Afghanistan and deposing the ruling Taliban following the September 11 attacks on U.S. cities.
Yemen, the ancestral homeland of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, has joined the U.S.-led "war on terror" and is trying to shed its image in the West as a haven for Islamic militants.
Wild Thing's comment........
"joined the U.S.-led "war on terror" and is trying to shed its image in the West as a haven for Islamic militants."...
LOL, well Yemen you and your idiot terrorist lovers in charge have a VERY long way to go for me to think much of you.. With this kind of advice it speaks volumes you are on the side of the terrorists. Now go grab your prayer blankie, and pray to your allah the moon god. Yemen should be thanking us and kissing our arse that we don't bomb the heck out of that place for harboring terrorists.

"Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Whose gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinburg? I have more responsibility here than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse the marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives.I know deep down in places you dont talk about at parties, you don't want me on that wall, you need me on that wall.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline.
I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!"

Yes, Yemen is a haven for islamic terrorists. Yemen turns captured terrorists loose. But violate one islamic law and a violator is handled in a tough manner.

As I have said before we are fighting two enemies, the Moslems and the traitorous democrats who don't give a rats ass about this country.
These are enemy combatants, they are not POWs, as POWs from what I can understand from Geneva Rules are members of a standing Army. They are not. They are not even human beings. When they were captured they were not wearing a uniform, that constitutes being a spy and the usual treatment for spies in hanging. But I digress,
If these mamby pamby democrats are so bent on having these 'poor prisoners' released then the first place they should be released in is San Francisco and Hyananis Port, in fact lets move them in next door to Ted Kennedy and Nancy Pelosi... I wonder what their response would be, Oh and we cannnot forget Mr. Peepers neighborhood, and right next door to Harry the Traitor Reed, hell there enough to go around everyone of those traitorous CS ought to have to take care of two of them. Then quarter the rest at the UN.
Do you think somebody might bitch.

I just arrived home and I'm watching the FOX NEWS GOP Debates. Hearing Ron Paul state that the incident in the Strait of Hormuz where Iranian 'Republican Guard' vessels openly provoked the US Navy were not acts of the Iranian government, but likely independent actions and that the United States is just seeking a reason to declare war against Iran. Gotdam, has this idiot been living tucked under a Camel's tail inside the anal cavity protected from the real world all this time? He calls himself a Libertarian, nope he's just a frigging appeaser. Absolutely nothing happens inside Iran, in Iranian waters or on Iranian vessels without explicit sanction of the Iranian government. Pick one, any candidate and see if this doesn't apply in their mutual admiration society. They are preoccupied with their image before the court of world opinion and less concerned with the security of this nation internally and externally.
Yemen, when the Soviet Union failed, the Ruskies pulled out of Yemen, the economy collapsed and anarcy ruled. Their oil fields shut down for a couple of reasons, one, the technology was 1920's Russian, old, worn out and non standard, with out any means of support or parts. Two, the camel jockey's couldn't pick up a brick without smashing both hands, they had absolutely no skills, relying on allah and the warlords for their subsistance. International oil concerns tried to rehabilitate Yemen, to stabilize their economy and the area, the Yemen government neither could nor would provide security from attack by the muzzy warlords for those expats trying to bring back the economy there. I refused a job there when many of my co-workers opted to got there, they didn't like being shot at and left, taking jobs in the oil fields of the Caspian sea and other former Soviet domains. The Yemeni are much like the Somali's in their behavior, taking their cues and marching orders from the big bully on the block, Iran.
With leadership like those currently running for the presidency and with the media, including Fox, openly telling the muzzies that they are weak, meally-mouthed and gutless, with out any resolve and dependent on the most useless organization in the world for making their decisions, why not expect ludicrous demands like this from every tin pan dictator in the world?

Watched Bishop Fulton J. Sheen's 1955 episode tonight (Life Is Worth Living) on EWTN and to paraphrase him, he said " The communists have their advocates in the American newspapers and
on college campuses... and they are our greatest allies...!" My my nothing changed over the past
53 years... soviets and now muslims! RIP Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, or TRY TO!
