Wonderful!!! I sure miss Charles Schulz. There sure isn't much that's redeeming out there in print or video entertainment anymore. I see the cable/satellite TV lineup over the holiday is the movie trash we get around Halloween and broadcast TV is the same old liberal drivel, wouldn't want to offend the atheist eh!!!

This is a yearly tradition for us.
We have a joke about our Christmas trees ~ my daughter (the rescuer) always picked out a tree that she thought no one else would buy (same with pumpkins at Halloween) so our trees were always named "the Charlie Brown tree". They wouldn't make it on the front page of "House Beautiful" but they were picked with love and always special.
Jack - you are so right! It's hard to find any "Christmas" movies that even touch the reason for the season anymore. Now there are even Christmas slasher movies. WTH!

Jack I miss Charles Schulz too. He even had to go head to head with the network to get this particular Christmas show aired. They didn't want to then had to change their minds.

Yankeemom, I LOVE that, how wonderful and so special to do that. Thank you so much for sharing about your daughter and the tree. That is just so awesome.

Tom, I agree, Yankeemom and her daughter make it special that way. Love it.
