Obama Advisor Links Clinton Vote And Bhutto Death?

In comments to reporters after Barack Obama's first speech Thursday, his chief strategist David Axelrod seemed to link Hillary Clinton’s vote on Iraq and the death of Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan's former prime minister.
"Barack Obama had the judgment to oppose the war in Iraq. And he warned at the time that it would divert us from Afghanistan and Al Qaeda, and now we see the effect of that,” said Axelrod.
“Al Qaeda is resurgent. They’re a powerful force now in Pakistan….There’s a suspicion they may have been involved in this. I think his judgment was good. Sen. Clinton made a different judgment. Let’s have that discussion.”
Axelrod was responding to reporters' questions whether Bhutto's assassination enhances claims that Clinton's foreign policy experience may make her more fit to serve as commander-in-chief.
“I mean, she was a strong supporter of the war in Iraq, which we would submit is one of the reasons why we were diverted from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Al Qaeda who may have been players in this event today. So that’s a judgment she’ll have to defend.”
Clinton spokesman Jay Carson criticized Axelrod’s remarks. “This is a time to be focused on the tragedy of the situation, its implications for the U.S. and the world, and to be concerned for the people of Pakistan and the country's stability. No one should be politicizing this situation with baseless allegations,” he said.
UPDATE: When asked about Axelrod's remarks late Thursday, Obama told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that “This is one of those situations where Washington is putting a spin on it. … He in no way was suggesting Hillary Clinton was somehow directly to blame for this situation.”
The Illinois senator added that “it’s important for us to not look at this in terms of short-term political points scoring.”

So if we never went into Iraq....Pakistan would be Disneyland right now? So until America decided to take out Saddam Hussein, Pakistan was a magical land where gumdrops grew on trees and everyone held hands and danced a happy jig each afternoon.
Obama is an un-patriotic leftist! And obviously his team are idiots! Desperate and idiots not a good combination. I could care less about evil commie Hillary and I am in no way defending her. I just thought this was too funny to pass up. hahahaha

WT, I'm still concerned about those 50% in our own ranks that let us down last election, leaving us in the litter box with Harry and Nancy.
In 1996 I stopped at a local hardware store on the way to the polls and asked the clerk if he was going to get off to go vote, his reply was no, he was staying, stating that 'better people than I are better qualified to decide the president'. That is the prevailing attitude of some, my in-laws included, an attitude that can both help and hinder an election, I'd rather all would participate than have some just stay home and let someone else dictate their destiny. If you don't vote you probably deserve what you get as a result.

I keep getting E-mails from Fred on all he is doing, and he keeps asking for money, I'd expect to see some results or, He must be doing it incognito, cuz he sure aint makin' a dent anywhere.
But as far as Obama is concerned. I think he is a shill for the democrats sponsored by the clintons in order to make Hillary look appealing, and that is going to take a lot of hustle. The rest are lap dogs like Biden(aka the dumbest man in the Senate)
From a country of almost 300 Million and 40 million Illegal Mexicans you'd think, we could find a candidate worthy of a vote.

I don't think anyone is making a dent at this time, really. Too many in the race. Iowa and NH will cut it down. I still pray for a Thompson-Hunter ticket. But whoever said the human race was logical?
We too many times vote for the person who tells us what we want to hear instead of actually listening to what the candidates are saying and what they really stand for.
They just want a quick fix and complain about it later.
I want a President with balls of solid rock and a backbone. I want someone who is going to tell the terrorists just where they can go in such a way they look forward to the trip! I can't stand slimeball snake oil salesmen who are in it only for the money and prestige it brings them and the book deals afterwards.
I want someone who is going to serve this nation and her people wisely and prudently and with GUTS!

I can laugh at comments by Sen. Obama and his team but considering comments like this from a President Obama scares the shit out of me. How low can the country get?
We are in bad shape with the field of candidates out there and an electorate so gullible they will vote for anyone who tells them what they want to hear even when they are obviously lying through their teeth.
If you believe in prayer, now is the time before it is too late.

Jack thanks for the story about what happened. I think you are right and so many just do not have any interest too in even finding out what is happening in our country to learn who they want to vote for. That is sad too.
