Glenn Becks Show ~ Duncan Hunter Speaks About Fence
Glenn Beck and Duncan Hunter slam Congress re border fence
.
Wild Thing's comment........
“Now is the time when those who take the threat to our nation’s borders seriously stand up and be counted,” said Hunter.
Considering all the attempts by the political class to destroy it, America is still here. But eventually they will destroy our nation, and open borders is one of the lethal weapons.
A few quotes:
John Adams:
“Remember, democracy never lasts long.
It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.
There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”
Thomas Jefferson:
“God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed.
The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive.
If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if it’s rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance?
Let them take arms.
The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them.
What signify a few lives lost in a century or two?
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure.”

Thank You Glenn Beck. And Thank You Congressman Hunter. Their border effort has effect and support among the majority of Americans. But there is no support among the powerful in our government. Duncan Hunter has the courage to name names.
I am very disappointed in my two Senators from Texas. Publically at least, they pretend to support border control. But I think they, like our Governor, are in George Bush's back pocket. They have done nothing to close down the illegal colonias that have sprung up just inside the Texas border. These are actual unincorporated shanty towns of illegals. They are magnets for other illegals and anchor babies. Instead of closing them down, our state leaders, incl. then Gov G W Bush allocated tax dollars to them. These colonias are also breeding grounds of support for Hispanic activists like LULAC and La Raza.

Unfortunately, nothing is going to be done to secure our borders until President Bush is no longer in office. And quite a few Congress critters. The Hispanic Caucus is not going to make things easier either.
I fax my Senators and Reps regularly using Grassfire.org and NumbersUSA.
Maybe it's time to send the Congress more bricks as we did earlier this year.

If Hillary, Edwards, or O'bama get into office it will continue. Any candidate with an American First attitude will not get the nomination, from either party.
Any of the above or republicans who get in, it will be the fast track to the Super-highway linking Mehico and Canada via the AAU. EU style.
Last I heard, Mexican drug dealers have kidknapped 80 people from Loredo, they are either being held hostage or have been killed, where is the outrage from anyone in Washington. They know about, they have been told about it, and refuse to do anything about it, but they do not want to make any waves about it to the Mehican Government.
This is nonsense that the republicans are the party of smaller government, and the small businessman. They are just as corrupt as the democrats. The American Union means big bucks, for the government even if it costs us our sovereignty.

We need Duncan Hunter as president. All of the current Republican candidates have awful records on immigration. The only one that's relatively mediocre is Fred Thompson....
Duncan Hunter truly cares about our country.

SK Johnson, yes we do need Hunter. I cannot tell you how much I wish he was in the top list of those running. I never felt like this in my life, so disappointed in what has been going on. And outraged at the left and rino's destroying our country.
