Fred Thompson To Be On Laura Ingraham Talk Show This morning
Fred Thompson is supposed to be on The Laura Ingraham Show during the second hour today. Check local listings for when you can hear Fred.
And also here is a video of an ad for Thompson with also comments made by Rush Limbaugh.
Wild Thing's comments........
I will keep trying to post things when I find them on Thompson and Hunter, the others are already being covered to the max by the liberal media that seems to favor the rino's more then the conservatives.
Some other quotes by Thompson:
"I've been a strong supporter of the Second Amendment," Thompson said. "That's where I've been yesterday, that's where I am today and where I'll be tomorrow."
Thompson made his comments after a tour of Thompson Arms Center, where he watched how hunting rifles and handguns are made. He then spoke to workers, telling them that what they see in his campaign is what they'll get if he's elected.
"There comes a time when you've got to ask yourself if you're at your highest and best use, if you're doing what you should be doing," Thompson said.
Thompson has been campaigning for the presidency since September. He didn't comment Monday on how his relatively late start is affecting his campaign. And although the campaign calendar has been shortened this year, he said that New Hampshire needs to remain first in the presidential primary process.
"It institutionalizes, in some respects, the people who are supposed to take a look at things early, in detail and more depth, and I think the system is just fine," he said. "I think New Hampshire is first, will remain first and, after all this hoopla is over, will still be first."
Thompson also spoke about securing the country's borders. Although he didn't mention specifics about a plan, he said the country needs to better protect itself.
"I don't know why a terrorist would bother coming through an airport or port when they can walk across our borders," Thompson said.

I am slowly getting on the Thompson bandwagon. My first choice, Duncan Hunter, appears to have no chance. The front runners, other than Thompson, are all lying RINOs with tons of liberal baggage.
I do not know if Thompson's timing is genius or fatal. I do believe that he is the one Republican that can win back the Reagan Democrats. I also believe that he is the only potential president that can win the World's respect as a tough American. The others would be considered panty waisted dishonest career politicians by the rest of the World and pushovers for political correctness.

Fred is a statesman and I would support him anytime. He isn't kaa kaa scripted either. He has character and integrity.

I like Fred too. I even get campaign letters from him. Right now he is at 17 % in Iowa, which means nothing but his rise is slow and the only way I see him to get his message out, is he has to become more animated.
His ads are good and make sense and has a viable message but he has got to get some real passion to put into this.
We can win this thing. Because first Thompson is likeable, this is important because Hillary is not likeable. Second, he is a conservative and so is his message.

I like both Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter but agree with TomR that Hunter appears to have no chance. It's a shame because he has taken the lead on protecting our borders first which is critical to our national security. He just blasted "a Democrat-sponsored bill that would eliminate the requirement passed by Congress to build a double-layered fence covering 854 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border". Hopefully, the early Republican primaries will be indecisive and maybe give Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson more opportunity to present their case to the voters or at least force the other candidates to be more forceful in their comments on border security..

Tom, me too, slowly. I like Fred and he does have a lot of things that I agree with, but oh how I wish with all my heart that Duncan Hunter had more backing him. I fear the Republican party is more laden with rino's then conservatives and they are going for Rudy and Mitt etc.

Mark, I hope so.

Les, yessss and also I wonder if Fred does zoom to the top I wonder if Hunter would be willing to go for VP with him. That would be a powerful ticket for sure.
