Praying we are blessed with a Conservative President this year. We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions. Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask that no Airman, Coast Guardsman, Marine, Sailor, Soldier or National Guardsman, feel alone or forgotten.

Mark - in my reference to 1968, as well as the elections, I was thinking of our victory in the Tet offensive and the MSM calling it a defeat for us. This year we have the success of the Surge and the MSM ignoring it.

Happy New Year to all!
As the year draws ever closer to her end and the beginning of a new year, I often reflect on how I feel and what we've accomplished, which is a lot. We still have the greatest country on God's green Earth and I am so proud to be an American. So proud I can say what I want and not get thrown into prison for it. And I am ever so proud of our troops. While it's already 2008 in Iraq and Afghanistan right now, I can't wait to wake up tomorrow morning and greet a bad new year. Our military is the greatest that there will ever be on this planet and we have to duty to honor them this New Years, so here's a toast to our kids--May they be blessed from above with the powers of might and right and may we all learn to live in freedom and peace.
