So Neveda is going blue state now, along with Virginia and Colorado. A MEXICAN bar owner IN Reno Neveda? An ILLEGAL Mexican bar owner? OLD GLORY never bows to ANY national or foreign flag,
and is only flown upside down as a signal for distress - period. At least in a communist country he would have been executed, and in an islamic nation - the same! When will be the right time to stop this treason and take our country back?

America is being invaded with the full cooperation of our politicians. I really think it has almost reached the point of no return. Our culture is probably altered forever. It is difficult to believe that cheap labor is the main motivator for selling out America. I do not know what the other reasons are unless our politicos are so blind they just don't see the damage that has been done with the massive influx of non assimilating immigrants.

This problem could be solved with strong countermeasures like, secured borders, charging the countries of origin for services to their citizens here illegally, a consumption tax so illegals would end up paying a share of taxes, no welfare payments to illegals, heavy taxation of money wired out of America and heavily fine employers of illegals. These are all financial burdens put on the illegal problem itsself. If their costs outweigh their rewards, a lot of this problem will take care of itsself.

The only thing we can do to our wayward and conniving politicians is vote them out of office before they give the vote(for them) to illegals.

2008 will be a deciding election year in Americas' future.

Jim did the right thing, he did what you, I or many others would have done. I say GOOD FOR HIM!

There are various laws, Federal and State, on the books about the US flag and its display and treatment. But the Supreme Court ruled years back (I think it was in the 80’s) that those laws were basically “Not Enforceable” because they violate a persons rights to/under free speech.

Now there is some talk of him (Jim) being charged with stealing the flag. I don’t think anything will come of it, but one never knows. I don’t know about the law in Reno or Nevada, but in Florida, it should be a misdemeanor (based on the dollar value of the flag), it did not occur in the presents of a Police Officer, (I did not see any police there) so it is not arrestable, it would be referred to the State Attorney’s Office and pretty much would not be prosecuted or at worst he would have to pay for the flag.

This guy, the bar owner, says he is an American citizen, and he wants to fly the Mexican flag with the American flag. I say he is a Hyphenated American, his allegiance is not to this Country but to Mexico and the United States, not solely the United States, thus "HE IS NOT AN AMERICAN AT ALL"!
