I'm sorry but they don't make any effort to learn the language, none. (Apart from 'put your hands up', 'where's the whorehouse' and 'give me a beer'). Neither do they make the least effort to understand the culture. They need to remain ignorant of it so they can sustain their hatred by thinking of these people as sub human. A bit like you in fact.
