I think its a tad early to be picking a ticket. He finally made his choice to jump in, and that is fine. But what do we know about him. I know very little and he is in favor of some kind of open borders, like the current administration. So where is the difference and the change.

I watched part of the debate last night and Immigration came up early and Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo were the only ones who got to the real issue of securing the border and enforcement.

Ron Paul is a joke, he and Brownback should run for the next re-make of Brokeback mountain. Anyone with two first names is an enigma anyway.

If the primaries were held tomarrow I would got with Hunter and Tancredo.

I like what I hear, but I've been burned before. Thompson's background is still too vague to me. I will withhold judgement for a while. A lot will depend on who he picks as a running mate. I always thought one of Reagan's few errors was his running mate. It would be nice if candidates announced their potential running mates before the primary was over.

Darth, I would be embarassed to be a Democrat and the people they have in their party. Not only those running for President but the entire party is loaded with socialists, communists and criminals.
I wonder how they stay healthy with all the hate they carry around on a daily basis.

In my whole life I had two politicans actually hand write letters in reply to me. One was Fred Thompson and the other was Jessie Helms.

I am a Duncan Hunter girl, and I also know since so many people at work keep telling me, he cannot win. waaaaa They tell me how he is just too conservative. How can that be a bad thing. hahhaahha

Now I am wondering if he would go for being VP with Fred Thompson and then he could run when Fred is done with his terms.

Tom that is an excellent idea. After all we get stuck with the running mate and we should know it from the get go.
