Drunkard Murderer Kennedy Wants Socialized Medicine So Bad
Socialized Medical Care
KENNEDY ON THE PRESIDENT’S THREAT TO VETO SCHIP
Kennedy site press release
WASHINGTON, DC
Senator Edward M. Kennedy, Chairman of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, released the following statement in response to President Bush’s threat to veto the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.
“This is a cruel threat to needy children and I urge the President to reconsider. It’s outrageous that there are nearly 9 million uninsured children in America and over 600,000 more since 2005. This Administration has failed on healthcare and our children are paying the price. Congress has been working in a bipartisan way to get a Children’s Health Insurance Program bill that will make quality health care available to children of working families. This bill will allow children to get the quality healthcare they deserve, and should be signed into law before the program expires next week. After watching hundreds of thousands of children lose their health coverage on his watch, it's incomprehensible that President Bush would veto the bill that fixes the problem. This is a cruel threat to needy children and I urge the President to reconsider."
Wild Thing's comment........
All these people live in states and cared for locally, there is no need for any federal health care program. The only constitutional legislation the feds could be involved in would be transportability across state lines. We need to tell our federal representative to limit all discussion to that. Their is no need for federal, Washington DC health care.
And one more thing, before our government takes one breath, one step toward socialized health care, how about soomething new and different like..........KEEPING YOUR PROMISES TO OUR VETERANS!

Socialized medicine will NEVER work here.
I'm sorry that there are children and elderly people who don't have any, yes, I am.
But creating a huge government bureaucracy to fix the problem is even more of a problem.
My view is if you go into medicine as a career, you treat everyone anyone, whether they have insurance or not. That's the way it used to be and it worked pretty darn good, too.
But then doctors got cocky, patients starting suing frivolously (which made lawyers a lot of money) and insurance companies sat back and enjoyed the fights.
Hitlery's plan is worse, though. She wants it where you HAVE to prove you have insurance before you can get a job! What? I guess she really is that STUPID!!!!

The word 'ripped' comes to mind in ref to the Kennedy boys. JFK's PT 109 was ripped in half by a Jap destroyer in WW II, and Teddy Bear was ripped the night he killed Mary Jo Kopechne in Chappaquiddick!

If they're the children of working families, why don't they have health care? Is their any reason the parents aren't taking their children to the doctors when they're sick? You don't think the reason the parents don't have the "extra" money for health insurance is because of booze, cigarettes, and lottery tickets? I bet they all have the latest cell phones, ipods, computer, and TV.

It's prioities as Bob has noted, the choice between a concert, the bar, tobacco, that cellphone, some meth, that pair of Nikes or Medical-Dental care, don't forget that the section 8 and SSI are already covered. Great point Darth, one was asleep the other in a rutting drunk.
I believe that Sirhan Sirhan could serve one more civil service, one that will not require medical attention. How about a frog gig this time Sirhan.

Isn't it amazing how Kennedy can talk about Nationalized Health Care. It's not his money that will pay for it. I keep seeing sound bites from Michael Moore that it is free health care.
'The Government will pay for it', and where does the government get its money from ?
What the hell is wrong with these people. There isn't anything run by the government that has an efficency of greater than 10%, this is the Health Care these morons want.
No thanks.

Darth, yes they sure were ripped.

Bob I truly believe in most cases it is, they spend on other things. Then they want the government to take care of them.

Jack, yes that is what it is, prioities are all mixed up.

Mark, yes don't you just love how people like Kennedy and the others are so willing to spend money that is from all of us, and we have no say in it.
