Iraq Minister: New U.S.-Iran Talks Set
Baghdad (AP)
A new round of U.S.-Iran talks focusing on the deteriorating security situation in Iraq will be held Tuesday in Baghdad, the Iraqi foreign minister said.
"I can confirm that the United States and Iran have agreed to meet on July 24th in Baghdad," Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari told The Associated Press in a telephone interview.
The Bush administration had said Tuesday that it was ready to hold a second round of direct talks with Iran, and Iran said it had accepted a U.S. invitation for talks.
Zebari's comment was the first official confirmation of a date.

What the hell does the Bush Admin. think they are doing ??? Are we going to once again politely ask them to stop shipping weapons into Iraq that are killing our soldiers, as well as to stop training the people who kill our soldiers?
This is turning into "stop, or I'll say stop again!"
And note also how the media doing this story has to say keep claiming it’s deteriorating in Iraq. The surge has been working but they still want to lie.

The iraniacs have been parasites since 1979 when they stormed our Tehran embassy and took 62 Americans hostage for 444 embarrassing days! We allied with Iraq in the previous Iraq-Iran War, and allied with Mujahadeen in their war with the Russians in Afghanistan. I love history and history always repeats itself. It's a shame that our senaturds and retreating represenatives don't KNOW their US and World History 101.

They kept doing this with Jimmy Carter, too. Then Reagan stepped in and they stopped playing cat and mouse with us.
They've been at it really, behind the scenes, since 1979, though, just waiting for us to do something weak, so they can pounce again.

"Compassion" and reason will not work with the Iranians. America seldom comes out in the plus column when we negotiate with anyone about anything. I guess we will ask them to please stop developing nuclear weapons. More than likely, we will be offering financial benefits.
I wish we would debate the shape of the table again instead.

PS: During Reagan's administration we were tasked to fly these islamo fighters from Pakistan to Andrews AFB and back after they received medical treatments and new artificial limbs! They told me when deplaneing..."Back to kill more Russians now!" This was in the 80's and now we are killing each other (Mujahhadeen islamo terrorists/fighters)... so KILL them and get it over with... but Washington DC is clueless!
