It is not that the Federal government cannot recognize and find illegals, it is that Federal leadership does not want to. Bush, Chertoff, McCain, Kennedy and all got a taste of our displeasure with the illegal immigration problem recently, but they don't care. Do you wonder how many more miles of border fence will go up the next 18 months? Probably little to none.

I once worked at a small facility that had a 'protester' run through security, this idiot made it to the containment dome where he was 'apprehended' and 'contained' by a couple of pipefitters, that were excoriated by the media for their excesssive force. Security was armed but elected not to act because it was a 'protester'. The upshot was that this incident made life miserable for everyone working there due to increased 'security'. I would have simply shot the SOB and ended any future attempts by any 'protester' testing the system. Strong deterrents work, the PC bullshit doesn't work, it only breeds indicision by the authorities, hatred and contempt by the citizenry and increased boldness by our enemies. Look at what happened to Ramos and Campeon when they were caught in the PC crossfire. Leave a few bones to bleach in the desert sun, it will give them pause for thought.
