Excellent Duncan Hunter Interview
Two different videos that are really excellent!!
Lou Dobbs Tonight 03.29.07 - Duncan Hunter Interview
And also this that is not in the interview:
Duncan HUnter on Keeping American Industry and Jobs in the U.S.
"American workers are the most productive and innovative labor force in the world. Unfortunately, they are asked to compete in an unfair environment against other workers who make only a fraction of a living wage and are employed by companies that face few, if any, responsibilities to the environment or the long-term prospects of their employees. Our domestic manufacturers are forced to compete against foreign companies that benefit from their country’s currency and regulatory regimes. Ominously, China is cheating on trade and using billions of American trade dollars to build ships, planes and missiles at an alarming rate while, at the same time, taking millions of American jobs. I will reverse this “one-way street” with a new policy of fair trade for the American worker."
You can see the video with this statement jsut go HERE. This Video is excellent as well.
Wild Thing's comment...........
Duncan Hunter is the only candidate running at this time who has a record of dealing with border issues, the border fence and authoring bills.
Many of those who came to the USA legally gave Hunter a STANDING OVATION when he (the ONLY Republican to show up) gave a speech at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials in Orlando this last Friday. Story HERE

This is why he and Fred Thompson ought to be on the same ticket. They only want what's best for America and legal Americans.

Lynn, we need a US Marine and a Tennessee Volunteer in the White House! Duncan & Fred or Fred & Duncan would be a GREAT GOP ticket in 2008. The islamomaniacs would hate to see them in the White House, eh?

Having Thompson and Hunter run on the same ticket works for me. I'll put my money where my mouth is on this one.

So far, Duncan hunter is the only candidate I have great faith in. He has been a stalwart conservative throughout his time in office.
Economics is one of America's strengths and we need to keep Middle America employed with American jobs. We need to begin to reverse the trade imbalance and stop this Pan American Union nonsense now. Hunter is the only candidate that talks about economic issues to any degree. He is also the only one to have the fortitude to use the word Communist with China. After 20 years of weak, give-it-away presidents we need to get back to an America First patriot.
Darth - Hunter was a US ARMY RANGER, not a Marine.

Thanks for keeping me straight Tom! I think his son is a US Marine now and we enjoyed flying the USA Rangers around from 1984-1997. These guys are special no doubt! Ft. Campbell was good to us on crew rest and especially during crew rest evenings! Duncan and Fred have my votes sir. Happy 231st Birthday America and to you patriot bloggers of liberty!

I can get behind and support a Hunter/Thompson or Thompson/Hunter ticket. Thompson has charisma and charm. Hunter has real ideas and values. He'd make a good Veep if it came down to it.

Lynn we sure do need that, yes we do. :)
Posted by: Wild Thing at July 2, 2007 11:35 PM
Darth it would make them cringe to know we have real conservatives chosen. heh heh and I love it.

Bob we need to pray really hard. The media is pushing the rinos. grrrrrrr
Posted by: Wild Thing at July 2, 2007 11:38 PM
Tom we sure do, these last few Presidents almost gave all of America away.
