Pelosi: Senate Republicans Have Once Again Thwarted the Will of the American People on Iraq

Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued the following statement today after Senate Republicans refused to allow an up-or-down vote on the Levin-Reed amendment to the Defense Authorization bill that would have responsibly redeployed our troops in Iraq:
“Most Senate Republicans continue to obstruct Democratic efforts to force a new direction in Iraq, instead choosing to continue to stand squarely behind the failed policies of President Bush. By blocking an up-or-down vote on an amendment to responsibly end the war in Iraq, Senate Republicans have once again thwarted the will of a majority of the United States Senate, a majority of the House of Representatives, and a majority of the American people.
“After four and a half years of a failed policy in Iraq, we must not just voice our opposition, we must vote to end the war. That is why the House passed legislation last week on a bipartisan basis to responsibly redeploy our forces from Iraq. We will repeat that judgment legislatively as often as necessary.”

Hey POS Nancy Pelosi, the will of the American people is to take the freakin gloves off, blast the he*l out of the enemy (taliban, al-quada, etc.), force their meeting with PedoAllah, clean out the holdouts and bring the troops home. But the Dems and other sympathizers hold them to battle using lawyers and so on. Our guys fight with one hand tied behind their backs caused by the same people who insist we’re losing.
They can all go to hades as far as I’m concerned.

Hey Nancy, you don't "end" a war, you win a war or you lose a war.
The reason the Democrats are doing the theatrics now is that the “Surge” is working. They are in panic mode. They know if this “Surge" performs as well as it is now, more Americans will find out they were wrong all along. Maybe if they make sure the “Surge” is shut down, the American public will never know truth to the lies they have continuously put out through their accomplices the press.

So after 4 1/2 years their solution is to just ... quit. Run away, or in terms they can understand Surrender.
It is the same old Sh*t, raise the white flag so they can bash Bush, so they can say, " See we told you so, its Bush's fault we lost the war".
But by the same token at the same time they say there is no war, it is a bumper sticker war, so why are they so worried about pulling the troops out now ?
Because the longer the Surge goes on and the chance of success become greater they begin to look like a bunch of schmucks that everybody knows they are.
Why don't they ever worry about the country,

It all comes back to the same theme that was there shortly before January of 2000, get Bush. I think Bush has been an unmittigated disaster but that the war in Afghanistan and Iraq as being absolutely necessary to prevent the spread of radical Islam like that exhibited by Iran. These people never think about the long term security of the nation, only their own short term gratification at someone else's expense. Send Pelosi into Iran with out her entourage for some 'man to man' talks with her genocidal likeness, Ahmajinidad.

Their is a video of 'Hanoi' John saying there was no bloodbath after we left Vietnam. And he has even talked to the people who were sent to the, now get this, 'the Re-Education Camps'.

All the dems want to pull the troops out NOW, what happens if we don't ? Would that mean there is a chance of winning this thing ? A chance Bush might actually win one for the country ?
These people are demented, if all they worry about is making Bush look bad, he does that all by himself.
What are they going to do when this War escalates. Will they then support the troops ... You bet, when their asses are on the line ... just like they did after 9-11 they couldn't vote fast enough for action ...
