Only 3% of the Senate that think the U.S. is worth keeping? Pretty dismal IMO. At least they have taken a collective position where the rest stand alone and feather their own nests. In the quest to be self serving they have forgotten the words of the founder of the Republican Party in his November 19, 1863 Gettysburg, Pennsylvania address: "that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain--that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom--and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth." With all the behind the scenes scuffling and secret deals have we devolved into a dictatorship? There are some striking parallels between our George and King George.

What a great video! It's always heartening to me when a member of Congress actually stands up for We the People, and makes sense at the same time.
I watch CSPAN a lot and you don't often see this type of speech. Whining and BS, yes.
Hopefully the apathetic in this country are really waking up and starting to paying attention - and not only on immigration.

Yankeemom, me too your right about what it is like to watch CSpan most of the time. The passion being left at the door I guess. To bad, it would be awesome to see them really be themselves, even the bad guys. hahaa
