Michael Chertoff Total Jerk Mouthing Off
Michael Chertoff, Homeland Security Secretary:" I understand there are some people who expect anything other than capital punishment is an amnesty. "
Wild Thing's comment........
What colossal arrogance! Chertoff and all the others prove to all of us they do not represent the U.S.A. but Mexico. Well, they don’t represent me. I am ashamed to be associated with them.
Chertoff (brought to prominence by none other than Rudy Giuliani, then was appropriated by GHWB, embraced by the Clintonistas, and then catapulted to his current position by GWB.
Want to know something really "funny"? He is being floated as a possible replacement for Alberto Gonzales, should Gonzales get the axe.
I despise it when the politicians say you can't round up 12 million people and just deport them.I wish someone would pose the question.......
I would ask then, "What would you do if these 12 million were al queda?"
Would you give them amnesty also? Sheesh!

Pure government double-speak. These guys are actually promoting illegal immigration because it "is important to our economy". In other words, cheap labor makes all the financial charts look good. Never once did one of these three guys mention the culture clash.
Socialism at work.

I have never in my lifetime seen so many Americans so down on an administration as I see right now, and you know, in my opinion, they deserve every bit of criticism they get...
Keep firing WT, you're doing a world of good...

Is that Chertoff or Jerk, no matter this guy is two cans short of a 6-pack.
McCain is no better with his male companion Lindsey, what the hell kind of a name is Lindsey anyway, is that a girls name ? He acts like a whuss, how could the great state of South Caralina, ever vote for this Chertoff.
These two arrogant putz's are trying their damnest to shove this Amnesty crap down our throats.
We don't need a 'guest worker' program to pick grapes or lettuce, have not these Chertoff's ever
heard of the Industrial Revolution ?
No this is all about establishing a brand new Welfare class, and of course at the Taxpayer's expense.
This time on the ballot it should say, Democrat, Republican or 'None of the Above'. And if NOA gets elected then so be it then we have no meatheads trying to fleece our last nickle.

Mark makes the most important point of all of this nonsense. Cheap human labor.
Cheap labor as a leading factor (agriculture) sanctions inefficiency and exploitation and establishes a permanent underclass barely able to support itself.
Liberals today who make the "better life" argument for illegals are employing the same argument once used to validate slavery, that the slave was better off than his African counterpart, and that most slaveowners were charitable because the slave was "worth something". However bad the slave's life was, the slave would be worse off in his native land. BS.
Production farming by human hands hasn't changed since man began to till the soil. And it doesn't change until the farmer is pressed to automate or mechanize the process.

Well of course they can't round up 12 million criminals and deport them. They can't even lock the door to keep them from coming in.
But if they would just get out of the way, the citizens of this great country can show them how it's done. Wouldn't be pretty, in fact it would probably be downright ugly with some folks getting hurt. But it would get done.

Tom your right, it is about cheap labor for one thing.

TexasFred, thank you, there are so many of us that feel like this, disgusted, had enough the whole thing. I am so tired of how they demand us to keep putting up with the things they do against what America stands for and rule of law is one of those things.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 23, 2007 10:34 PM
Mark I agree so much. A brand new welfare class and all the other things you said.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 23, 2007 10:35 PM
Rhod that is so true.
Posted by: Wild Thing at May 23, 2007 10:36 PM
razOr yes your right, they can't even lock the door.
