Given the level of paranoia I imagine must currently be used to screen the mail of congressmen, I wouldn't be surprised if the feather was destroyed as a precaution in case it carried some type of biological weapon before the recipient saw it.

Old Labor is before my time. I vote for lib-dem anyway, unless there is a candidate who I particually approve of from one of the other parties.

Oh, resorting to cheap national insults? I dont even know where to start on insulting the US... Poor education standards and the infamous stupidity of much of its population - not just a steriotype, but demonstrated in numerous international comparison tests? American cookery, where the quality of a meal is considered proportional to its fat content and mass? The patriotism to the point of blindness?

I too have a very low view of the Sun. I think the Scum would be a more appropriate name - it substitutes scandle, celebrity and speculation for news, leaving its readers with the false belief they are informed.

The number of actual biological weapons is irrelivent. My point was that congressional mail is certinly going to be screened for anything suspicious - letter bombs, white powder, etc. If a mail screener finds an envelope which contains a white feather, they might worry that the feather could be a carrier for a biological weapon, and have it either destroyed or sent to a lab for testing. It doesn't matter that there has never been an attack like that in the past - its still something the security people would have considered as a hypothetical scenario, and taken precautions against.

Suricou is a Christian theologian because she claims to know more about the religion than "most Christians". How she knows this doesn't matter. She's either a psychic, apparently, or a pollster, but probably just deluded about her knowledge. Oh, and the things Surciou knows about a Christianity are condemnatory, and Christians don't think about these things. This is embarrassing testimony, but she doesn't recognize it.

Surcious is new lib-dem, not Old Labor. Damn, I've been caught in an error. Ouch. They're so very different.

Fewer than one third of British college women, at current trends will have children in their lifetimes, so the growth of Muslim populations will very quickly overwhelm whatever putative Christian culture remains in Britain. This should happen with a short generation. Blairistan will end with the opening curtains of Englandistan.

A nation committed to its own extinction deserves no help, and the ridiculous proposition that Christianity is a civil and cultural force in England should be acknowledged for what it is. Just wait long enough, Suricou, and a Christainless Britain will be yours.
