Reid Says Congress Will Force Troop Withdrawal
WASHINGTON (AP)
Defying a fresh veto threat, the Democratic-controlled Congress will pass legislation within days requiring the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq beginning Oct. 1, with a goal of completing the pullout six months later, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Monday.
Reid said the legislation ``immediately transitions the U.S. military away from policing a civil war.'' He said that troops that remain in Iraq after next April 1 could only train Iraqi security units, protect U.S forces and conduct "targeted counter-terror operations.''
The Nevada Democrat outlined the elements of the legislation in a speech a few hours after Bush said he will reject any legislation along the lines of what Democrats intend to pass.
''I will strongly reject an artificial timetable (for) withdrawal and/or Washington politicians trying to tell those who wear the uniform how to do their job,'' the president said. Bush made his comments to reporters in the Oval Office as he met with senior military leaders, including his top commander in Iraq, Gen. David Petraeus.

Harry Reid is one of the nastiest, meanest, rudest, and most arrogant traitors to ever reach a high political office. I just don't understand how our country allows such blatant treason and subversion at the highest levels of government. This man has become a grave threat to the security of this country and to our military.
This stuff from Reid is really getting to me, it is just beyond the pale!!!!!

Reid is a deformation, the thing that liberals become when they're frustrated and can't have their way. Greed, corruption, power, hatred and cowardice haven't helped.
David Broder, the archetype lib commentator, has called Reid an embarrassment, and described his "performance" as "bumbling". It's worse than that, but Broder realizes that Reid has got to go.

Hopefully in less than 2 years Reid and Pelosi will be former leaders of Congress. They are running rampant now and they may overdo it to a point the electorate replaces lots of Liberals with Conservatives. Maybe. If some staunch Conservatives run for office. I don't expect the RNC to help much. In fact, the RNC may actually get in the way as it seems to prefer wimpy RINOs.
It will be up to the Conservative electorate to support good Conservative candidates and replace at least the power in Congress, if not individuals like Reid and Pelosi.

Lord I hope their behavior is an eye opener to the general public as to what the CPC is and has become. It's the Cancer that's killing this nation and Pelosi and Reid are the rapidly spreading tumor.
I have just read where Komrad Kucinich has prepared impeachment articles against VP Cheney and President Bush. Trumped up by signatories to the same chargable events?
I look at the message sent by the Dems since 1945 and it reads: Send us your radicals, demented and indigent, we'll support your cause unless we have to remain committed otherwise we'll quit. As in past wars we'll support the enemy position, we'll even alert them to our troop movements, logistics and plans, it's our commitment to Democracy, equality and fairness, vote for us.
Partition in Germany, giving Eastern Europe to Stalin at Yalta, partition in Korea, partition in Vietnam with subsequent total capitulation, aiding the overthrow of Cuba in favor of a Communist dictator, swapping strategic defense strategies in Turkey to mollify Russian aggression in Cuba, supporting Pakistan instead of India brought the Pakistani's into the nuclear realm with Soviet support. This rich history of democratic support has paled in comparison with todays treacherous behavior by the left and their cohorts in the media.
Their message is to just wait until the President and Vice president are gone and you can have the spoils of war, just knock down the borders and divvie it up we'll not oppose you. Rooskevelt got that title honestly the rest have been following in their fathers footsteps. Is it any wonder why our allies are wary about our intentions when we can't even finish a job we start because of Communist intent? Don't just pull the troops out of Iraq, show the world your true colors, pull them out of Afghanistan and the rest of the worthless shitholes we have propped up for over 60 years starting with the UN.
Nary a pair amongst them and they want to be world leaders?

Harry forgets he can't do anything against a Presidential Veto and his party can't do anything about it. They don't have the 2/3rds majority and resorting to the dirty pool they promised they wouldn't do should wake us all up!
They will stop at nothing to ruin America and make her weak. And they will come riding to the rescue.
Do they all have Munchausen's by proxy?
