Words Mean Something You POS Articulate ? and Clean? Obama
Obama criticizes war in Iraq and says soldiers killed in Iraq "wasted" lives
AMES, Iowa
Sioux City Journal
A day after jumping into the presidential race, Democrat Barack Obama began the courting of Iowa party activists Sunday with a blistering critique of the war in Iraq.
More than 6,000 people who came to hear him at the Iowa State University campus saved their biggest cheers for his criticism of the war.
"We ended up launching a war that should have never been authorized, and should have never been waged, and to which we now have spent $400 billion and have seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted," Obama said.
Obama Restructures a Remark on Deaths

Then Senator Barack Obama of Illinois said Monday that he had misspoken when he suggested that the lives of more than 3,000 American soldiers killed in Iraq had been “wasted.”
As he arrived in New Hampshire, Mr. Obama said he would “absolutely apologize” to military families if they were offended by a remark he made in Iowa while criticizing the Bush administration’s Iraq policy.
“What I would say — and meant to say — is that their service hasn’t been honored,” Mr. Obama told reporters in Nashua, N.H., “because our civilian strategy has not honored their courage and bravery, and we have put them in a situation in which it is hard for them to succeed.”
A New Hampshire reporter asked Mr. Obama whether he regretted the remark, made at a rally on Sunday that “we ended up launching a war that should have never been authorized and should have never been waged, and to which we now have spent $400 billion and have seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted.”
“Even as I said it,” Mr. Obama said Monday, “I realized I had misspoken.”
Wild Thing's comment.......
Wasted? Only to an unAmerican, socialist chickensh!t like you Obama. Go back to the madrasa where you can be with like minded death cult worshippers.
And oh by the way, I DON'T accept your flimsy apology you freak.

He shouldn't apologize. This is what liberals believe. To Kerry, troops are stupid. This is how they think, this is how they communicate with each other. Every now and then they let the truth slip, and then try to juggle meanings. He won't be hurt by this. It will help his chances.

You are spot-on Rhod, all he needs now is some illicit affair with some women for a complete Resume enhancement and that will put him over the top in the eyes of most back biting democrats.
This would create quite a problem for the democrats on the one hand there's Hillary the wife, Mother and former co-president, who stood by her man(as much as he was), and O'Bama the Black version of Slick Willie, smooth, articulate and best of all CLEAN,(sounds like he bathes at least twice a month) until his Bimbo erruptions start to surface and that would put him over the top.
However, there is one caveat he must quit smoking, I mean a democrat that smokes, how would that look ? However, there is an upside to this, if he starts 'sporting' a cigarette holder and granny grasses and says something like,'We have everything to fear but O'bama'...er.. something like that...Or maybe they could get Prince Anhalt to come out and say he is really Obamma's daddy.
You know there is no other country in the world that can produce misfits, malcontents and victims like the democrats can.

Rhod I agree, he didn't need to apologize, it means nothing anyway. Plus that is how he feels about out military. Funny but he spoke his truth then he lied by doing his apology. How funny is that the POS. He disgusts me beyond words.

Mark so very true. The Democrat party is like a magnet to the kinds of people you mentioned. They can have their Michael Moore's and Code pink rock dwellers etc. Yuk

And to think we thought the Clinton administration had all the misfits, who'd a thought this second string would show up. Love to have one of those HS50 Steyr Mannlicher rifles pictured below, but I'd settle for a Ma Deuce, both are fine tools. I'm watching a special about snipers on the History Channel, I'm yearning here!!! Oh. before I forget Obama - Ellison, punkin' on a stick!!!

This is going to be a long, unpleasant campaign. It has started too soon, and some of these candidates are going to self explode early on . They will say something, or do something, or some revolation will come up that will further discredit them. It will be a very dirty presidential campaign, especially in the primaries.
Right now I am paying the least bit attention as possible, as I don't feel well enough to be riled up for almost 2 years. The Dems are really starting early, and the Repubs show no sign or mention of anyone to impress me. Maybe some Independent will get my attention, or a now obscure Republican who is not a RINO will arise.
Anyway, this is way too early to read anything but the mistakes of early campaigners.

Tom it is way to early and I agree, let's just have fun for awhile as we point out the idiots and their mistakes that are like this jerk Obama. It will be a long and horrible race with tons of attacks.

Jack - I have had a Springfield Armory M1A1 Natl. Match for almost 30 years. It is a great and accurate rifle. I was in college with Jim Leatherwood who developed the ART scope, so I went down to Stephenville(Texas) and got one from the source. This is a combo that is very difficult for an average to great shooter to beat. Very accurate system, reliable, the price is not prohibitive and .308Win is a very good caliber, lots of available ammo.
If I live long enough for the coming anarchy, this will be a great weapon for blasting moslems, or illegals turned rebels.

Since someone brought up rifles and snipers. In mid '64 I think, it was my turn to go to the rifle range. We had to qualify once a year. At that time we used the M-14,and had the round targets and 50 rounds, from the 200, 300 and the 500 yard line, while waiting for the Cattle-car to pick us up to take us to the range, we were all standing shooting the breeze and someone said, "Hey did you hear someone at Cherry Point shot a 249 out of a possible 250", and everyone said, Yeah, BS, or sure he had his buddy in the Butts pulling targets for him and put all the markers in the Black.
No we were all wrong, the shooter was none other than Carlos Hatchcock. That is as close as I ever came to a sniper. I didn't realize it until much later, wouldn't have made any difference, either way, but I was, in a very, very small way a part of that history. Just being there I guess.
