To War Protest Freaks ~ Burn In Hell!
In Washington, counterprotesters also converged on the mall in smaller numbers, but the antiwar demonstration was largely peaceful. There were a few tense moments, however, including an encounter involving Joshua Sparling, 25, who was on crutches and who said he was a corporal with the 82nd Airborne Division and lost his right leg below the knee in Ramadi, Iraq. Mr. Sparling spoke at a smaller rally held earlier in the day at the United States Navy Memorial, and voiced his support for the administration’s policies in Iraq. Later, as antiwar protesters passed where he and his group were standing, words were exchanged and one of the antiwar protestors spit at the ground near Mr. Sparling; he spit back. Capitol police made the antiwar protestors walk farther away from the counterprotesters. “These are not Americans as far as I’m concerned,” Mr. Sparling said.
In December 2005, the Iraq war veteran received a disgusting, anti-war death wish card while being treated at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. for injuries from a bomb explosion in Ramadi.
The card front, decorated with patriotic and holiday stamps, was deceptively innocuous. But, when you take a look inside it says "P.S. DIE".
Last month, his right leg was amputated. I posted about it here at this blog and so did countless others with blogs that love and respect our troops and were outraged.
This last weekend, while he was participating in a counter-protest against the traitors and enemy within our country and their convergence, he was spit at by anti-war demonstrators.
Anti-war protesters were allowed to spray paint on part of the west front steps of the United States Capitol building after police were ordered to break their security line by their leadership, two sources told The Hill.According to the sources, police officers were livid when they were told to fall back by U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) Chief Phillip Morse and Deputy Chief Daniel Nichols. "They were the commanders on the scene," one source said, who requested anonymity. "It was disgusting."
What Josh had to say about the protest:
"This march here? I think these are basically people that just don't really understand what's going on. These are what I like to call TV liberals. All they do is watch television and get all their information off of there. If they had any real world experience and actually could see what was going on. They're walking here because of people like me who fight for their freedom and the people that have sacrificed their lives are the real heroes. If they were in Iraq right now they would be wishing that they could have somebody come in and save them so they could have the same freedoms that we do. They really don't understand that. That's the whole reason I joined because of my nephews and nieces who I loved to grow up in freedom. They can do whatever they want. They can be whatever they want. People in Iraq are taken from their homes. They're captured if they don't agree with their dictatorship. All I'm saying is they're people, too and they deserve the same rights that we as Americans deserve.
They say fighting doesn't solve anything but we would not be here unless the Revolutionary war happenned, World War I, World War II. We'd be speaking German right now. It needs the soldiers They don't understand. They're ignorant and ignorance is bliss, they say. They're caught up in their cause and that's all they see. They're blind."
My story is not too much. I am a regular infantryman. I was over there [Iraq] patrolling the streets. We were taking some cover from some fire and I was looking for a position to defend against and on the way I saw a little hole in the ground with an IED and I warned my troops to get back, back away as fast as possible. They knew they couldn't get a bunch of us. There was a trigger man hiding there in the field. They'd rather get somebody than nobody so he blew me up. That's my story. I'm here a year later. I got amputated a year after my injury and now I'm just recovering, getting better so I can get back out there. If you want to support the soldiers, you need to support the war because we're all volunteers."
The left was represented by the traitors to America ...just a few of the names:
Democratic Representative Dennis Kucinich
Jessie Jackson
Hanoi Jane
Tim Robbins
Susan Sarandon
Sean Penn ( actor) with Democratic Representative Maxine Waters next to him and communist Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin on the Far Left.
WTF? A mother would do and say this and side with the enemy!
“I’ve got a son who just got out of the military and another still in,” said Jackie Smith, 65, from Sunapee, N.H., whose sign read “Bush Bin Lyin.” “And I’m here because this is all I can do to try to help them.”
A counterprotester, Larry Stark, 71, a retired Navy officer who fought in Vietnam for five years and was a prisoner of war, said....
“We never lost a battle in Vietnam but we lost the war, and the same is going to be true in Iraq if these protesters have their way.”The protesters on Saturday were undermining troop morale, Mr. Stark said, and increasing the likelihood of a premature withdrawal.
“It’s like we never learn from the past,” he said.
Wild Thing's comment........
The First Amendment is not an excuse for spitting on a wounded Iraq vet or threatening their life. These traitors not only spit on Vets but also called them murderers. And a couple of the traitors threatened to shoot Joshua Sparling. YES they said they would shoot him and there are people from the PRO Troops side ( our side the military said, America's side) of this that have it on tape!!
This is from an email from someone that was there supporting the troops and was there next to Josh.
"There were at least two different people in the leftist crowd who threatened to shoot Josh - I videotaped those incidents. I'm sure I missed alot more, because I was only one person and couldn't be everywhere to catch all of the lame leftist threats and curses."
It is about time the American people woke the hell up! I am sick of this! It made me physically ill to see this shit happening. I had to wait till today to post about it I was too angry, too sick to my stomach to even be able to type anything about it.
OK now get this, how do the enemy within get that many to show up?? They sure as hell did not just leave their homes that day and walk over to the protest. NOPE! They took busses and trains, this fucking thing was well organized to the hilt. And there will be more of them. More planned protests coming you bet cha'! More of the enemy of this country, loathers of our military and users of our freedom for their purpose to attack and slander our troops in the future.
Look at this that is planned for a future protest! GRRRRRRR! They will now desecrate yet another War Memorial. One that they contributed to greatly...by adding thousands more names on the wall by their by their protests before and Hanoi Jane leading the way back then as she is now! The people elected al Qaeda to control the United States Congress and the left controls the Nazi spit mongers.
From the A.N.S.W.E.R. website
March on the Pentagon, Saturday, March 17,2007
On March 17, 2007, the 4th anniversary of the start of the criminal invasion of Iraq, tens of thousands of people from around the country will descend on the Pentagon in a mass demonstration to demand: U.S. Out of Iraq Now! 2007 is the 40th anniversary of the historic 1967 anti-war march to the Pentagon during the Vietnam War. The message of the 1967 march was "From Protest to Resistance," and marked a turning point in the development of a countrywide mass movement. In the coming days and weeks, thousands of organizations and individuals will begin mobilizing for the upcoming March on the Pentagon. Organizing committees and transportation centers are being established to bring people to the March on the Pentagon.
The March 17 demonstration will assemble at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (Constitution Gardens) at 12 noon in Washington, D.C.and march to the Pentagon."
HERE is where thousands of them went to make arrangements to get there, check it out! Rides are lisrted by each State, no stone was left unturned to get this to be a big protest for them.
There was a variety of signs made available to protesters before Saturday’s event. The protest was largely organized by the group United for Peace and Justice, a coalition of 1,400 local and national organizations.
Our troops deserve better, their families deserve our support as well. When people protest like this it weakens our country it does not make it stronger. We should be a united front in this war against Islam. Every American should be supporting our troops, thanking them and appreciating what our Veterans have done. To not do so sides with the enemy, an enemy that worships death and has an agenda to own our Nation and kill of anyone that is an infidel.
By their actions, words and what they protest they are my enemy, my enemy just as much as the terrorists are and no less. The other day a woman walking in front of me had a t-shirt on that said…..”Peace through Music not War”. I hope if the day comes this fucking board is kneeling down in front of a row of hooded terrorists with big knives in their hands to behead her they play the music selection of her choice.

If someone wants to protest the war this country is involved in that is fine, it is your right given you by the Constitution. You can protest all you like, I may not like it but it is your right. It is not you right to disrespect the troops that fight that war by spitting on or at them, (John’s un-written law). By LAW Corporal Sparling was assaulted, he is a Federal Employee, he has the right to defend himself with appropriate force if needed. The Capital Police should have arrested the protester that spit first. Yes, I know it is a bullshit arrest but they should have set the pace that this kind of conduct will not be tolerated. I personally would like to have seen Corporal Sparling take his crutch and beat the shit out of the guy. People talk about this being a Vietnam all over again. Incidents like this are part of what is making it like Vietnam. Also, If I were to see a war protester spit on a US Soldier from any of the Branches of Service, I would beat the living snot and shit out of them, they would not know what to do. They might find out what terror is experienced in war, at least for a minute or so, and they might even need crutches.

Those Hollywood elite pseudo intelligent brainwashers ought to Thank God they live in a country where they can protest things they don't appreciate, but they forget that there are those of us out here who believe the opposite and should give us the chance to spread our voice as well.
I am so tired of seeing Hanoi Jane and her cronies badmouthing us, the nation and our government. They make us look like brainless idiots who can't tie our own shoes without help.
They don't think when they open their mouths. Yes, we have freedom of speech, but I believe in tempering that free speech so you don't hurt someone in the process of speaking out for what you believe.
They need to look at the whole pie, not just one slice. There is more to this war than what they are seeing on the surface. They lost some of the pieces to the puzzle and now can't see the pretty picture it's suppose to make.

Those protesters could care less about the troops. As far as they're concerned they can all die. The only thing they're concerned about is the $$money$$ being spent on the war. They look at the money being spent to defend this nation as money wasted. They would rather use the money on social programs and welfare to grow their voter base.
Never...Never think they care about the welfare of our military.

First, there should be MAJOR retribution for any elected official who takes part in an anti-government public protest. They are supposed to do that thru debate on the floor of Congress.
Next, the Capital Hill Police chief needs to be demoted for failure to secure the Capital steps. He made a wrong, cowardly decision and should pay the price. It sounds like his decision also had a negative effect on his police force. And, as John5 states, the spitters should have been arrested for simple assault.
Finally, protesters, especially those who have made it a career, will always be with us. Compared to the Vietnam era rallies, this "major" rally sounded like a small, mostly failed affair. Let them protest, it is their right. They will also turn off most Americans by their silliness and win more support for that which they oppose.

Black five actually predicted this a couple of days ago. This is the culmination of Communism and it's ugly manifestations against the troops. Sounds familiar, you bet it does. I don't like to attend rally's, I don't trust myself, for years I packed heat. Handloaded my own, especially the .45 ACP, standard 230gr ball ammo is good for putting a man down, if judicious you can load that puppy up with 250gr JHP, now there's a stopper, I packed this load for Grizzy Bear. Preferably I'd rather gut them with a dull bayonet but right now if one of those slimeballs spit on me they'd be gutshot with the .45 and a 250 gr JHP. There is a big difference betwen anarchy and peaceful protest, those MFr's have never been peaceful.

"To War Protest Freaks ~ Burn In Hell!"
I'm thinking that just about sums it up.

The spitting, rudeness, and threats are nothing new. It happened far more frequently in the 60's and 70's then it has this time. Do not be mistaken I do not in any way condone this action, it is just a continuation of the Hippy actions of the past. They got by with it then and I am pretty sure that nothing will be done now. If I get to be in charge though.......HANGING AND FLOGGING FOR ALL.

The first large demonstration I saw was thanksgiving 1967, I had been back for 3 months and I couldn't believe all those long haired maggots, protesting their country, the slogan was almost the same 'bring the troops home'. Six months into 1968 there was another protest calling the Troops Baby killers and all such crap. This of course was after Second Khe Sanh, and the first TET Offensive where the press reported it to be another Dien Bien Phu, it wasn't.
What the press got wrong as usual was it was not the French at Khe Sanh, it was the United States Marines, and there was no way that enemy would kick our Asses.
The Ironic thing is this, the protest on the mall in '67 seemed appropriately timed to coincide with TET, and the follow up protest after the NVA defeat in June 68. Since that June I have believed these bastards were working for the Communists. Much later I read where General Giap actually confirmed what I had believed.
Two things that I don't see, first is that coordination with the enemy and Second, there is no draft, these are the same maggots that protested 40 years ago but they have nothing this time to protest. The press doesn't have the clout it had 40 years ago either, not with 'talk radio' and Fox, it is an entirely different ballgame this time around.
They are still despicable and still the same cowards I thought them to be back then but they don't have the same intesity.
This I think is due to the American People, they geniunely want a victory and not another defeat which these protestors desparately want.

John 5, I cannot be near these people. I cannot trust myself and what I would do. That probably is not a good thing to admit but it is how I feel and it is with every part of my being.
When I did support the troops rallies in the past and the lefties were there I had to see that about myself and it just was so hard not to strike back. Thank God the police stood with all of us supporting the troops or I might have walked up to one of the jerks and pulled down their signs and done more. I was and am so furious.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 30, 2007 05:24 PM
Lynn yes exactly. They wouldn't be so free if they go the country they are begging for. They would have no freedom at all.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 30, 2007 05:28 PM
Bob that is so true. They want the money for special programs for handouts and other things. They truly hate our military, I have seen it glances and looks when I wear support the troops t-shirts. Glances of disgust from people like the people protesting. It just makes me stand that much taller and prouder to know I am ticking them off as I walk into a store.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 30, 2007 05:31 PM
Tom I hope so, I pray they do turn off the middle of the road types that can't take a stand either way. They are just so horrible.Meanwhile it makes my blood boil.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 30, 2007 05:33 PM
Jack your right, they never are peaceful. At all the rallies I have been too, the police were always there and it was to protect us from the anti-war people. I used to kid with the police that if they only knew they would need the police to protect them from me if I could have my wishes come true.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 30, 2007 05:40 PM
Hi Jenn, thanks. Good to see you.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 30, 2007 05:40 PM
DE644 your right it was constant back then. I am afraid it is going to grow into that, it has a chance to anyway.
I know what you mean if we could do what we think should be done if we had the say so. I hate how they use our Freedom paid for with the highest cost of all against our military and our country.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 30, 2007 05:43 PM
Mark your so right, they want defeat and also it was not plastered all over the news like it used to be. They did show it on C-span but not like total coverage on other major networks.
I just don't want anything or anyone to mess with our troops.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 30, 2007 05:46 PM
I can't think of a word to describe these....,see,... I can't think of a word!!!!!
Posted by: Blly at January 30, 2007 07:58 PM
Billy, I know it took me a couple of days to be up to doing a post on this. I was just too angry, to upset and sick to my stomach.
Posted by: Wild Thing at January 31, 2007 02:26 AM
One more thing that has come to my mind--this War isn't making America look bad--it's these liberal loonatics from the left.
They have forgotten the Iraq War is just a continuation of the first Iraq War in 1991. He didn't follow the rules that were set down for him,so he had to pay the ultimate price.
What do you do to a spoiled child who won't behave after everything else has failed? You give the child a spanking.
