Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - fiery anti-American leaders whose moves to extend their influence have alarmed Washington - said Saturday they would help finance investment projects in other countries seeking to thwart U.S. domination.
The two countries had previously revealed plans for a joint $2 billion fund to finance investments in Venezuela and Iran, but the leaders said Saturday the money would also be used for projects in friendly countries throughout the developing world.
"It will permit us to underpin investments ... above all in those countries whose governments are making efforts to liberate themselves from the (U.S.) imperialist yoke," Chavez said.
"This fund, my brother," the Venezuelan president said, referring affectionately to Ahmadinejad, "will become a mechanism for liberation."
"Death to U.S. imperialism!" he said.
Ahmadinejad, who is starting a tour of left-leaning countries in the region, called it a "very important" decision that would help promote "joint cooperation in third countries," especially in Latin America and Africa.
Chavez and Ahmadinejad have been increasingly united by their deep-seated antagonism toward the Bush administration. Chavez has become a leading defender of Iran's nuclear ambitions, accusing the Washington of using the issue as a pretext to attack Tehran.
Ahmadinejad, meanwhile, has called Chavez "the champion of the struggle against imperialism."

At the recent Non Aligned Summit, Venezuela and Iran sided with the genocidal Arab masters of Sudan against the Black sub-Saharan Africans they are murdering in Sudan. Venezuela and Iran endorsed the Non Aligned Communique telling the UN not to interfere with the genocide. MSM buried that story and now presents these phonies as champions of the Third World.

Imperialist is the Communist buzzword for anti-American, these ignorant pagans wouldn't know the difference any more than they would acknowledge the Holocaust of WWII and the killing fields of Cambodia and Laos. Those historical events were perpetuated by National Socialists and Communists. They are getting their fascist butts kicked in the Somalia and are desperate to save face and maintain their oppression.
This is the type of mission that is feasible and tailored to the talents of my hero Dallas Turner, or one of equal talents, to liberate the people of Venezuela and Iran, without the stigma of being Imperialistic.
If we are so imperialistic why is Chavez still pimping his CITGO holdings in the U.S. and why are Americans still funding his enterprise with impunity?
Maybe the all American Kennedy clan can answer those questions, or at least let Barney Frank mouth a response.

Maybe by the use of the word imperialism Hugo is referring to CITGO and how we have imperially hindered his holdings. Perhaps he's a bit incensed that his favored sons in Boston want to take down the CITGO sign over the Red Sock's Kenmore Square. He still has his ally and friends in the Clan pimping for him and can always count on the mouthpiece with a roll of the tongue to vocalize his desires.
