Ahmadinejad: Iran Willing to Talk If U.S. Changes
Ahmadinejad Opens Door to Talks If U.S. 'Corrects Behavior'
TEHRAN, Iran — President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad boasted Tuesday that Iran will soon have mastered the production of nuclear fuel, but he added the country was far from producing enough fuel to power its Russian-built reactor.
Addressing a press conference, Ahmadinejad claimed that the world had finally accepted that Iran has the complete cycle of fuel production — from mining uranium to enriching it to the level required for consumption in a nuclear power plant.
"Initially, they were very angry," Ahmadinejad said, referring to the United States and EU powers that have protested Iran's enrichment of uranium. "The reason was clear: They basically wanted to monopolize nuclear power in order to rule the world and impose their will on nations.
The U.S. and its European allies are currently negotiating with Russia and China over a draft U.N. Security Council resolution that would penalize Iran for its refusal to respect an Aug. 31 deadline for a cessation of enrichment. Russia and China — which have extensive trade with Iran — are rejecting the harsh sanctions that the Western allies want to impose.
Ahmadinejad said Iran would talk to the United States if it behaves correctly, but he did not spell out what he expects Washington to do.
"We will talk to the U.S. government under certain conditions. Should it correct its behavior, we will talk to them," he said when asked whether his government would talk to Washington "about various issues."
The comment was the highest-level statement by Iran in recent months that it is willing to talk to the country which it has long demonized as "the Great Satan." Iran has twice proposed talks with the United States— in March and on Nov. 5.
Wild Thing's comment.....

Correct behavior toward this guy is a small-calibre bullet swirling round inside his skull.

Don't underestimate this guy. People who write him off as a flake with no brain are making a big mistake. Ahmadinejad is passionate about his beliefs and his personality is shaped by the long 8 year Iraq/Iran war. He was also a participant in the US Embassey hostage crisis too. This site gives a good insight to this man and what shapes his intense dislike of the US.

Americans and the world have forgotten that Iran declared war on the United States in 1977. Carter only emboldened them in that effort. We have spineless Demo's and RINO's that refuse to take them seriously. The word is implacable, they need to look the word up then apply it to the Islamists, there are nests of scorpions and the Moslems are the scorpions with Iran fomenting most of the world wide trouble.

RE: Be A Hero - Get Entered in the National Bone Marrow Registry
RE: Navy SEAL Justin Finds A Matching Donor in Germany
Via Adele, here's an update on Navy SEAL Justin's bone marrow transplant and recovery:
Spoke with Justin's mom yesterday to get an update. He is doing great!! His nutrifills (whatever these are) are back where they were when he was first diagnosed and before he really got sick. His platelets and red blood cells are way up and his organs are doing fine. She says the doctors say he is "a boring patient" and they think he should be the poster-child for bone marrow transplants. His one trouble right now is that his salivary glands got burned off during chemo but they will grow back. He's also waiting for his hair to grown back. He could not eat anything for a while (not even applesauce) and has had to be hydrated using an IV. Suzanne has been at his side the entire time, and they are out of the hospital for now, though he goes regularly on an outpatient basis.
Perhaps the best news is that he got a call from the national bone marrow registry to let him know that 40,000 people have signed up in his name!!! Can you believe that? So 40,000 people signed up to give marrow at some point. His mom said this really means the world to him.
His folks will join Justin and Suzanne over the holidays. They requested continued prayers from everyone, as they are not out of the woods yet. His pill box is an actual tackle box (as in a fishing tackle box) and he still faces an uphill battle.
Nice going, people! 40,000 new potential donors! I'm sure it's more than that. I registered because of Justin, but, here in Chicago, there wasn't a way to register in his name. Keep spreading the word. You may be able to save a life! More info about the process and my experience getting tested here.
I frequently tell people that we (milbloggers) have the best, most motivated readers on the planet. This is just further proof...THANK YOU!

Jack, I agree. Can you imagine if we had a true media they would be screaming about this vile person in the news and the threat he has been for a long time.
