Phrase 'Common Good' Unifies Dems for Election
Ned Lamont uses it in his Connecticut Senate race. President Clinton is scheduled to speak on the idea in Washington this week. Bob Casey Jr., Pennsylvania candidate for Senate, put it in the title of his talk at The Catholic University of America _ then repeated the phrase 29 times.
The term is "common good," and it's catching on as a way to describe liberal values and reach religious voters who rejected Democrats in the 2004 election. Led by the Center for American Progress, a Washington think-tank, party activists hope the phrase will do for them what "compassionate conservative" did for the Republicans.

The Democrats have now rolled out their catch phrase for the 2006 mid-term elections. You'll be hearing it time after time after time from Democrat spokesmen and candidates from now until election day. It's a phrase that does nothing less than lend support to the identification of Democrats as nothing less than big-government socialists.
The Democrat's catch phrase is one that will surely bring smiles to the faces of Marx and Lenin in whatever corner of hell they now occupy. The word --- or two words, if you will -- for the Democrats is now "common good."
Well, at least the Democrats are being loyal to their socialist roots. "Common good" was a catch-phrase for the communist movement for decades, now it is being officially embraced by the Democrats. No real surprise here. Democrat icon Ted Kennedy announced the war on individualism -- using those very words -- many years ago.
The idea of the "common good" is completely contrary to the concept of individualism. You either support and promote the idea of individuality, or you ignore the rights of the individual for the good of the whole .. for the common good.
So .. here we have the Democrats telling you just exactly who they are, and who they think you are -- not an individual, just one element that makes up the masses.
These people and their socialist "common good" theme are dangerous to freedom, liberty and the very concept of the individual. If you're looking for a reason to vote for the free-spending, big-government Republicans, the Democrats and their "common good" theme would be it.

The phrase "for the common good" is classic Marxist rhetoric. That was the main theme of Marxism.

Collective thinking is is the liberal virus of the diseases of authoritarianism and totalitarianism.
No liberal would ever admit to such a thing, because the virus leaves you feeling good about yourself, and never underestimate how important self-congratualtion is to a liberal.
But like the man said...for every slave with a jackboot on his neck, there's a Western liberal saying that the slave at least can read and has universal health care.
Hillary Clinton is the culmination of a dozen human faults, most of them chosen. Prosperity breeds a Hillary Clinton because there are enough people convinced that they're "ordinary", or the "little guy" (the last heard recently in a Ned Lamont commercial) that they need a Hillary Clinton. They invite the jackboot.

The Bill of Rights are individual rights, not rights for the common good. When politicians say it's for the "common good" or it's for "the children", you know your going to get screwed.

Both Clintons were students of Marxism, we all saw what Bill did, he stripped the military and relied on the UN for our national defense. Hillary is a Marxist Communist who provided most of the impetus behind him in his 'accomplishments', look at the original intent of the tenth amendment. It states that the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution are reserved to the States and to the people respectively. So it's either States rights, or you and me as individuals. With that said there was a decision that was handed down in the Supreme Court of the US in 1942 that opened the way so that the Federal Government could now become all powerful and could take away all States' rights. You see, when Federal funds are given from the Federal government in Washington, D.C. and accepted by any State, the Federal government has opportunity to tell them how to use it and control the organization. That particular law the US Supreme Court in 1942, here is the last phrase, it said, "It is hardly a lack of due process for Government to regulate that which it subsidizes". Any money handed down to any State whatsoever - when they take it, they lose the right to say how to function without money. That means States' rights are gone. That's why when they give money for housing or unemployment and so on, the Federal government now exercises control over that segment of society. This is how the Communists and the Clintons usurp their power in this nation, they gain dominion over us because we expect the government to take care of us. Hillary and the Democrat Party represent Communism in it's worst form for the United States. New Orleans is a shining example of common good. Common good indeed!!!

about the wicked witch of the east...Hillary
is going to bring such a load of baggage to
the 08 elections she will need Bekins,North
American and Allide Van lines with all their
trucks to haul it all...It will get down and
dirty like never before,In the long run I doubt
she can cut it...
